Back when this toon died at 48, I was bummed that I couldn’t transfer to a pvp server and had to stay pve, so I just left him as a ghost on Doomhowl. When TBC anniversary rolls around, will there be a chance for Doomhowl characters to go to a pvp version of those servers, or even onto the Classic Era pvp server? Haven’t been able to find any solid info on this.
I wouldn’t think so. Even though it is a special server by being hardcore, it is a pve server. And blizzard has always locked pve server transfers to pvp servers. I would not suspect they’d change it.
is such a big word. Classic Era HC can transfer to PvP.
But I hope Anniversary HC is progressing to TBC as well - that would iindeed be the best solution.
Not true. Defias Pillager (HC) can transfer to Whitemane (PvP).
I didn’t know that good to know I always heard they were against transfers to pvp servers from others.
Currently there is only one option to transfer from doomhowl HC Classic Anniversary server to Dreamscythe TBC pve server. There is NO Classic Era Server option for a transfer. This quote is from Blizzard news of Nov 18, 2025 “After January 12, 2026…. Any remaining characters left on Classic Anniversary Realms will continue to Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary.” Where is the Classic Era option for Doomhowl or is Doomhowl staying as a HC Server?
servers are getting deleted along with all toons on them, sorry dude.
Is this confirmed or speculation?
Confirmed.
