Ok , I won’t go down the Zygor rabbit hole, apparently it’s a deep one XD
Get questie. And kill everything you see that isn’t gray or red to you. Look up draintank guides, you’ll zoom to 60 if you just chain kill things. As UD you can eat corpses to keep health up, life tap to keep mana up. Lock is very chill and easy leveling. Mage is fastest if you can master AOE but lock can be very fast.
Any of them.
Even rested XP.
The addon itself is free, its 100% free it even comes with a 1-20 guide for free.
The part you pay for and the reason they are allowed to charge is because the guides arent free.
They aren’t “allowed” to charge, but Blizzard just doesn’t care enough.
And yes, stuff like TSM premium or weakauras from patreon also goes against this.
Getting lost in the world is part of the point of playing vanilla. Follow quest chains through to their end, check previous quest givers, and explore adjacent zones where the mobs don’t one-shot you when you enter. Recommending add-ons for vanilla questing at level 8 is wild.
Well they have been doing it forever and blizzard could easily shut them down, they have shut addons down before.
Almost like its in their best interest to let them go?
Maybe they get a cut?
Serious question: if you hate a slow level grind and do not enjoy reading an interesting quest and wasting time wandering around noticing things, then why are you playing this version of the game
If you don’t care about completing current content, you might do the Caverns of Time 20th anniversary events.
I leveled fairly quickly using that content between timewalking dungeon runs, raids, BGs, and other anniversary events.
we dont have tw in classic lol
theres so many ppl gettin lost on these forums lately
Horde is a bazillion times faster to lvl than ally
Wrong sub forum homie
the fastest way to level up is to not burnout. I see so many people try to go go go as hard as they can and just end up quitting because of it. MOST levelers are slow, dont be afraid to be slow as well.
My bad.
I don’t know why the recommendation brought me here because I don’t frequent it.
As someone who is a loremaster, you can either follow all the ‘!’ marks and quests along the way (encouraged), get high enough by killing animals/creatures in a certain zone not recommended , do dungeons over and over (boring but quick and leveling folks with lots of alt characters recommend this approach), or download something like BtWQuests (all free) and all the expansion zones from Curseforge and link to your character then follow the main questlines (also the best way to see lore, each expansion, and understand where the storyline is headed for people new to WoW). Each path is ENTIRELY up to you - enjoy! Ps - joining a guild is also a good way to meet people and learn more about WoW
If you want to avoid Questie, I’d ask around in game to join a leveling or social guild. Durotar and Tirisfal will be the zones to focus until around level 12. Fully exploring and questing in both zones will get you past level 12. Search every building in the towns to make sure you find all the quests. Carefully wander off the beaten path on occasion to maybe find hidden quests.
Then try the Barrens and Silverpine!
