Fastest flying city

If we have a flying race between Dalaran, Tazavesh and Exodar which city would take first place?

Tazavesh wins by default, because Dalaran exploded and the Exodar can’t fly anymore lol

okay, let’s say all cities work. What then?

I’d bet on the Exodar, because it’s the only city designed with “running away from the infinite army of Demons” as an inherent goal lol

Dalaran didn’t have propulsion, it took a mass ritual to teleport it so that would exclude it from the running.

Or it’d win cause it’d teleport to the finish line.

But Exodar can’t just teleport the way that Dalaran can/did.

It really depends how far it can teleport. It would probably be a gargantuan effort to move it between worlds.

I’d make the assumption that since mages of the Kirin Tor can easily port between Shattrath and Azeroth that they have that power. But yes destination would play a large part, if it’s like 5 feet the exodar would win since it has the ability to actually fly.

But every time Dalaran teleports, it takes a long time to prepare.

I reckon the Exodar could move faster than Dalaran could teleport.

Skill issue. Get better mages.

I would probably pick the one that hasn’t crashed or exploded.

In full working order, The Exodar would win. It has the power of inter-dimensional travel, which means intra as well, and time warping capabilities.

“The draenei capital city is able to transcend dimensions and even warp time itself. What could a sliver of its power do in the hands of a mere mortal?”

Isn’t teleportation instant?

Would the mage have to get to the destination to anchor the teleport? Currently I think they’re limited to max wheel chair travel speed.

Exodar. It’s was designed to fly. Dalaran and the SL temu version of it are just floating city’s that could be teleported, not designed to fly at all much less race.

Exodar was designed to outrun. It would swamp the other two. Like Lux already said, it was built for the sole reason to outrun an army. Dalaran was never designed for travel, it only does so when it has to. I forgot the third one you mentioned so it must’ve been irrelevant.
