Is there any caster in the game that’s fast paced and decently mobile?
I’ve been maining a demo lock and I’m getting tired of being so slow

Fire mage has near infinite mobility and effectively doesn’t have to cast with the current endgame builds.
Watching high end fire mages you see they cast maybe 1 fireball or scorch a minute, everything else is instant, and even scorch can be cast whilst moving.

My buddy had the same issue on demo lock, we found that using SOULBURN with demonic gateway and demonic circle on a convenient bind helped a lot with their mobility issues. I also put burning rush on one of their mouse buttons so they can turn that on and off easily.
You can macro soulburn into gateway in a cursor macro like
#showtooltip demonic gateway
/cast soulburn
/cast [@cursor] demonic gateway

Fire Mage.
Boomkin has a lot of instants.
Hunter technically isnt a caster, but its there.
Also why not try the other Warlock specs? Demo is basically the least mobile spec in the game, Affliction (if Soul Harvester) has way more instants and if you’re playing Shadowburn, Destro is quite mobile as well.

Fire Mage 100%
Indeed, Destruction Warlock is far more mobile, it has a couple of spells you need to stand still for but spells like Rain of Fire, Conflagrate, Wither, Shadowburn, Agony, etc are all instant cast. I find Destro reasonably mobile which is helped by having a demon to keep the attention of the target so when you do need to cast things like Chaos Bolt you have more ease to do that.

I played affliction last season and destro has never clicked for me. It feels like an incomplete mage
Well so long as you gave it a go. Sounds like Fire Mage is probably the play for you for the various reasons listed in this thread.
You want a Mage - either frost or arcane. Fast, high DPS if played right. Needs a good healer and aware tank in groups as Mage wears cloth only and is ver y squishy as a result. Multiple good defenses.
I like Elemental with the Meatball build
I’ve been leaning into ice floes on my Frost mage and really speds up the heavy hitters like Ray of Frost or Glacial Spike. Since others in thread saying fire mage, I’d say mage the best class to try for casting mobility.

dw eventually wow will make everyone mobile. theyre already doing it in xiv lol
Frost or Fire mage, or maybe balance druid.
Devoker is extremely low APM.
