You have the duration so short why not let them auto cast based on things going on. Like if 3 or more people are below 75% they cast chain heal and if only 1-2 are only below it then cast healing surge?

I agree, it’s odd that they don’t.
As elemental, I would love the ancestor to cast Lightning Bolt or Chain Lightning. I would say Lava Burst, but it might proc an additional ancestor.
