Of course. You wouldn’t be alone, in that regard. I’ll actually be awarding small amounts of DKP for scheduled world pvp raids, too, so you’ll have the opportunity to tag an item or two to round out your kit somewhere down the line, should you choose to use it.

I’m with you there, Fang.

I actually do enjoy raiding, but find it more difficult to consistently schedule large blocks of time for that. Maybe when I retire and get all my kiddos graduated. :smiley:

Heh, you gonna’ get your kids addicted? My old man got me started on D&D shortly after I could wipe myself, and DAoC was mutually our first MMO. I like to think he’d enjoy my guild.

They all played a little at some point but it didn’t stick with any. My oldest doesn’t really do video games, the middle one is always on Overwatch, and the youngest is playing a different game every time I see her on.

At least that means I don’t have to obliterate them in game and hurt their feelings. :slight_smile:

Okay, put up a poll on Discord for raid nights. Three raids, 7-10 PM CST. Exact days are not in stone yet, but they’ll be Sundays-Thursdays.

And don’t forget Trygve and Dave! I guess it’s time for me to draft a formal raid roster. Usually I wait until closer to launch date for this kind of thing, but at the rate people are joining, there’s going to be confusion unless this gets a google doc.

Informal: We’re at zero druids, so there’s the one token feral spot, and a couple opportunities for the traditional restos. Could do with a few more mages and rogues.

Don’t be shy about applying on other classes, there’s always dropouts, and given how trivial Molten Core and BWL are in 1.12, I don’t need to be terribly strict for us to get through them in a timely manner. We’re a world-pvp guild first, so if you pvp with us consistently, gearing you for advantages there is more important to me than trimming our MC clear times by ten minutes.

What do you think of trying for multiple PVE raid groups, Boris? I’d hate to split up the officers, but given our fetish for city raids, more bodies is more ruination.

Is it ever possible to have too many paladins though? If sacking Orgrimmar, a flood a pink frames and holy light is just insult to injury for the faction who can’t have a superior class
