I retired early and I love it. Be a grownup and make your own connections instead of having them forced upon you by an institution. Learn to run towards things in life, not away from them.

So a bot running 24 hours a day, is better than a multiboxxer who runs 40 accounts for 5 hours a day?
The Multiboxer is gathering much more resources and is a much greater impact.

He’s just posting his story and his opinions. I don’t see why people are being so rude.
Multiboxing was allowed, so he did it and enjoyed it a lot. Now it’s gone and he’s sad. He never demanded it be brought back, he’s just expressing his feelings.

A bot is no different.
A bot is actually not worse, as a bot is stupid. A bot cannot adapt to issues that are presented a player playing 40 accounts can.
Running 40 accounts and controlling them all with 1 key press, is basically botting. The majority of the “Bots” people are seeing are not bots at all, but rather multiboxers.
A multiboxxer with 40 accounts can farm what you can in 40 hours in 1 hour. Thats a serious issue.

A bot that doesn’t need to sleep or eat or waste time having a life is no different than a player who plays a few hours a day. I guess that says a lot about you.

Guess what people can still do this with hardware which isn’t banned. It is only the software that is being banned because guess what - that software was being used to bot.

lol - if they can’t find the software they are looking for on their pc they won’t be banned - people like you might harass them by reporting them but blizzard has already gone on record with saying any account actions resulting from that will be overturned.

He’s exaggerating, but he’s also not wrong. Most multiboxer’s run between 5-8 accs on average. The speed at which they can farm is kind of stupid.
You can spend 4 hours farming 400 ore, meanwhile in the same four hours if someone is multiboxing 8 accounts they now just got 3200 ore.
And guess what that means? Now all the ore on the AH tanks in price because the supply is extremely high, and the demand is low. So people playing the game the way it was intended get handicapped out of profession’s for gold period.
Why should any player be able to completely ruin a portion of the game for other people?

The rest was just a wishy washy backstory that really doesn’t add anything to the overall arc outside of “feel bad for me”. At least that’s my take on it.
Anyways, he’s leaving is the two word summary of it all.

That isn’t where the problem is. It is a 5 account bot running 24/7 and that ore turns into 48000 a day.
Except their is a huge difference you seem to blatantly overlook.
Botting is cheating, and if said person gets caught with all those goodies, their account goes bye bye. I personally record and ticket botters all the time and get them the special treatment they deserve.
Here is the difference. Multiboxing was and never has been looked at by blizzard as cheating. So they just get more and more and more ahead everyday. I met one the other day who had 23kk gold… Like dude had gold cap on two characters…
I am sure that is great for the economy of the game.
