This is cute. I’ve always thought most female paladins with longer hair would braid and pin it up so it could fit beneath a helmet. Who says paladins can’t let their hair down outside of battle?

Aside from the stereotypical look they gave her, I believe the reaction would have been different if they hadn’t given her such an iconic name on top of that. Conjuring up a distant relative of an important NPC is just bottom-tier storytelling and once again reminds one of cringe-worthy fan fiction level writing.

Agreed. I know people are going with the whole ‘but there are multiple families called Smith’ sort of thing, but family names do mean something in WoW. Let this character stand on her own merit, not by attaching her to another famous person.
I just want her to be good. Her in-game dialogue says she was not considered good enough by her family and it already sends up red flags about where they might go with her being a Lothar.

i think it surely is about their light fanaticism, not their white fanaticism. haha. you know how people like the scarlet crusade, took a good thing and ran it off a cliff?
That would be interesting and I hope it’s something closer to that than the usual low-hanging fruit. On the plus side, her armor is pretty awesome, barring the shield.

They both look incredible, but Faerin’s model was certainly more memorable. I feel like X keeps wearing the same expression every time we see her.
Now they just need to make her gay and it’s the poster character they shoot for at SBI.
Edit: oh yeah, and don’t forget she is ugly too

maybe thats the problem. she is wearing ceremonial military dress, which is ornate, with soldier hair, which is not ornate. a matching enameled metal circlet would harmonize the look

Faerin…i don’t like the model, simple like that.
Unfortunatly, this character screams more the “diversity” checkbox than a genuine creation at the service of a narrative.
Maybe the story will prove me wrong and that we will have a good character and not the usual woke one we see in others brands.
But seeing how much they are insisting on this character compared to the others, i have my doubts.

faerin armor and apearence looks like a knight of Zakuul from swtor.
Well the map rotation shows eastern on one street de and kalimdor on the other with northrend on the north and pandaria on the south. But I suppose it can be reconned again to fit onto the back end. I just find it weird we missed it yet found NR then MOP then kul’tiran and the dragon isles.
We need better explorers xD
