Horde is lame and pathetic, specifically the kind of wannabe bad boi player I want to avoid playing with. The ones who would choose the dominant side for ease of play, yeah no thanks you can keep those people.

I think there is a big difference from getting rid of factions to just allow both factions to group together as well as allowing both factions to merc in BGs.
Getting rid of factions would kill wow… It was built on factions. Offering free transfers won’t be enough. People have chosen who they want. If I want to play a blood elf or an orc. How do you make me choose something different?

I started as horde when I first downloaded the game because of Forsaken. I knew nothing about the races since I hadn’t played warcraft yet, but playing as an evil race in all forms of media was something new.
Growing to actually care about the story ment I started to care less about Alliance. They’re your boring fantasy good guys, except the humans dominate all the otherwise interesting races they have. How much screen time have Draenei had? Basically 0, even WoD shoved them aside pretty quickly. Night Elves were and continue to be given a huge disservice.
There is almost nothing blizz could do to get me to main the other faction. I’ll max out for the story since they hide stuff to push the faction agenda, but I’m not going to put in any extra effort.

I’ve met my share of lame alliance who do nothing but cry like babies when they don’t get their way. So, how many horde threads do you see whining vs. alliance…
That answers any question on which side is more mature and we have plenty of reasons to gripe.
Oh, and I wouldn’t want to play with you with that attitude.

They’re never going to address it OP. Either go Horde or face the fact that Blizzard is fine with the Alliance being the chill faction.
The problem is that when the horde needed help, Blizzard actively enticed Alliance players to reroll horde.
Right now, they are only slightly buffing Alliance and only if they chose WM, but that’s not enough incentive for Alliance to choose it over being corpse camped, much less entice horde to reroll blue.
Until they do something to entice horde players to reroll Alliance, nothing will change.

It doesn’t matter much with sharding, there’s shards with more Alliance than Hordes too. That whole OCE situation too. It’s hard to see what could truly balance factions, I think covenants should have been used for wpvp factions.
It’s not hard at all. Blizzard just needs to do the same thing they did when the horde needed help.
They refuse.

Creating an imbalance to fix an imbalance could just create a bigger imbalance, like it leaded the Horde now dominating. I don’t think the 2 factions are ever gonna be really balanced, but I think there can be systems to make it more fair atleast. Finding the right system/solution to this is the challenge.

most alliance raiding guilds have switched to horde in the last 4 years, for every alliance CE guild, there are 9 horde ones, come on

my Alliance alt tends to win Arathi Basins, Kotmogu, WG defense, and the Azerite BGs more than Horde.
In other maps, they dominate.

Interesting, coming from the very faction that cried their way into free gear and extra bonuses for doing the exact same thing as the other faction. You also cried for high elves and got your way, but still cried because it wasn’t enough even then. Every time I come on here there’s alliance crying for special treatment, and they receive it. And the very next day there’s 20 more cry posts about HoRdE BiAs. It isn’t the devs fault people don’t want to play with the whining, spoiled, goody goodies, it’s your faction that did it. Jump down off that high horse and walk the eff out of Stormwind and fight back.

I didn’t cry for anything. High elves are stupid. You guys created the situation with rewards by rolling dominant side for ezmode. If it were up to me we would still have permanent pvp servers with faction restrictions, but that’s a whole other discussion.

No one seemed to worry about the possibility, then probably, then fact that it created the current imbalance. The difference is that devs would just turn off the spigot before that occurred.
