Faction change + Transfer questions

So I have a couple horde characters stuck on a dead realm, and it’s open for free transfers. However I play alliance, and I’m wondering if it’s possible for me to transfer them to my alliance server and faction change them to alliance.

If it is possible, what order do I need to do each service in? Faction change first and then transfer? Or transfer and then faction change?

Do these services share a CD at all? I really don’t want to wait in between if I can avoid it

I don’t believe there is a cooldown. Server transfer should be pretty quick but faction change could take a day or two if they are busy. So transfer then faction change is my vote. You dirty alliance
