F in chat for

I’m just saying. Even a bunch of WOW streamers out there who should know better are repeating the same nonsense because it makes for a better narrative. “He planned this for an entire year, slowly gaining trust and manipulating himself into being the Zeliek tank on the one boss you can’t petri, all in order to pull of the biggest grief in HC wow!!!” sounds a lot cooler than “he was upset at some of the guild leaders so when someone explained how he could potentially wipe the raid on Zeliek he took the opportunity.”

I’d be VERY surprised if he even realized that marks go through Petri. I think that was just an added bonus that he didn’t expect. His initial plan was to just use the beam to kill as many people as possible, probably ending the run as a result. He just lucked out that mark goes through petri.

I only found out about it through somebody trying to recruit me and according to them, this was planned, and they kicked somebody out of their guild who was “in” on said plan despite not being present in the raid, itself.

Yea it was planned. But like days or hours before. Not weeks or months.

OK, so it WAS planned LOL

I mean… like I just said? Someone, probably from VC since clearly Slipry knew, messaged him explaining how he could wipe the raid. I’m sure they talked about it on their disc or at least amongst themselves so people from VC probably knew, but it wasn’t this elaborate 9 month scheme involving multiple people or whatever fantastic story people are drumming up lol.

I never put a set number on the plan, you did though. I only said it was planned. Well, more like what I was told is that it was planned.

Whether it’s days, weeks, months, years, 2 seconds, doesn’t matter. It was planned, period.

What are we even arguing about, at this point?

In the notes, they specifically said they have a fix where targets will not leave their respective zones in HC Classic. That at least saves SW for now

You even can’t do this on the official HC servers. World bosses are limited to their own zones - or a reasonable distance of their spawn point.

My goodness. I was just using it as a freaking example. As the notes made it pretty clear, something like that is a “no, no”. Clearly, they don’t want it happening on HC but Era is fine.

Or better, yet, somebody (like a Priest) fears your mobs, they scatter and aggro more mobs would, also be a “no, no”. Or, somebody brings more mobs to you, so you can die. Any combination like that would be taken more seriously than on “unofficial”.

Absolutely agree. I replied as I did to underline that the official HC servers’ anti-griefing rules are in fact in place

I think you’re more up-in-arms about this than I realized :stuck_out_tongue: I was just trying to be helpful lol

Hmm I wonder if they can do something with the aggro table to make it so the new mobs would target the Priest in that instance lmao

Maybe.

But whatever they don’t patch up, and people try to grief, they’re donzo.

If you got a forum suspension then you did something wrong. In my almost 4 years and 8700 posts, I’ve never had one. The posts get manually reviewed after being flagged and actioned by the mods, had what got flagged not been accurate the post would have been restored.

Here’s the forum code of conduct, you aren’t supposed to say you got suspended by the way: Blizzard Support - Forum Code of Conduct (battle.net)

Interesting thread for you to complain about this on.

I’m still upset with Blizz about this.

I can understand some of the things said but there was certainly a post I made that didn’t deserve to be removed. No matter how many times I’ve appealed it, it remains removed.

Yeah, yeah, IK “can’t talk about account actions”, I’m over playing nice.

Hmmm. I was more posting to Saelida who seemed to be kind of trolling on this topic and they seem to be new to the forums (although who even knows with alts) so I linked that.

It sucks that you had something removed that shouldn’t have been though, I’ve had that happen myself before. I definitely don’t think the mods are perfect. Sorry to hear about that.

So the four horsemen wipe gets an update.

The wipe isn’t really an accident nor a grief, it was Judgement day in Tinyviolin’s word for HC elite.

He cites that were some corruption going on in the guild, the accomplishments were illegitimate and went on to say that the guild would not survive on official hardcore.

I’m not part of the guild so I don’t know what was going on :dracthyr_shrug: .

The interview ya’ll might be interested in.

It depends. I made a post called something like “playing a tiny violin for the hardcore elitists”. Obviously I was talking about this, but didn’t want to break the tos by being too specific.

People just look through your history and if you don’t align with their personal beliefs they will report you for everything.

Being that the young and uneducated typically lean one way, they are usually intolerant of anyone that uses logic rather than emotions in their daily life.

That’s pretty much what I chalk it up to. I’m not mad, and it’s over- but I’m used to it. This thread was made by someone smart who just made the post then let it go. Mine was deleted. Whatever.

Nah, I’m slightly amused by the incident, but disappointed in humanity at the same time.
It’ll blow over soon enough, a new outrage will crop up as sure as the sun rises each morning.

This says more about you than those you assume targeted you.
Truly let it go.
