EZ-Mine Nodes Suck

Seriously…it’s getting to the point, at least for me, where there feels like there’s no texture between the game systems. Like, do we need heroic and mythic mining? Do the nodes need weekly affixes. I’m actually dead serious, when or where does this kind of complexity seep stop?

You can get a fourth with high Finesse, but it’s still down to the wire.

I don’t mind them, I did however overload one other day for the first time and killed everyone else mining it in my group and in turn I couldn’t stop laughing.

Just get right on in and there’s always a clear spot. Easy peasy.

I did the same. If I saw anyone around, I would save the overload for a different node.

But it was still hilarious when it happened at random. Just seeing somebody fly in at Mach @#$& only to be blown to smithereens.

It’s not complex. It just depends on whether you find the silly gimmick worth it or not.

I personally love the gimmicks they added to gathering. I missed nearly dying to herbs in Shadowmoon Valley. :grin:

This one just isn’t worth my time. But I don’t hate it.

This I think, speaks to a broader problem with their overall design. There’s a fundamental misunderstanding here, about which types of content, most serves, which players. There’s overlap of course, but they’ve misunderstood where the edges of the overlap are. I’m just in a mood here this morning. This kind of thing, to me, is just front and center, basically everywhere I look now. I still love the game, so don’t hear me saying otherwise.

I’ve only ever been hit by them once and it was the first time.
But… yeah, being like 80% done with the mine and having to cancel it to side-step is just not fun.

Herbalsim got some elemental teleport thing? (I only just picked it up last night)
