Recently I notice eye of the dead active 450 healing power 5 spell, it wont consider Renew and Rejuvenation as a spell cast. Druid and Priest can just spam those 2 spell keep up the raid during that trinket 520 healing power. This is a bug or #nochange ?

ya its a bug. zg healing trinket 15 spell cast still work as usual with Renew and Rejuvenation.
Eye of the Dead 30sec healing power up time can cast those spell like 26-28 times. Good bug for druid and priest parses.

yeah, it’s let me cast renew without counting it as a cast for as long as I’ve had it. If it’s a bug, it’s an old bug.
Yep, been like this for a while. Very great for druids! And stinky priests… I guess

Sorry if this is a redundant question, but are you saying that Eye of the Dead still has the interaction where it won’t consume charges if Renew or Rejuv are cast instead of something like Holy Light or Regrowth?
Exactly. I can infinitely cast renew while Eye of the Dead is active without it using one of the 5 charges, where as Greater Heal will eat one. Usually I’ll activate EotD, spam Renew for a while, then get a few flash heal/GHs off with the 5 charges towards the end of the 30s.
I love that only reason this is an issue is because some non-druid / non-priest healer is mad they didn’t top parses. It always comes back to parsing.
