I have been using Spellslinger only because it sims better and it seems to be the go to talent to use.
Have now changed to Frostfire and I’m liking what I see.
Raidbots is telling me a reduction of 17,000 damage but seriously I’m certainly not seeing that at all.

Yeah I don’t use sims at all. But my assumption is that it assumes some fairly optimal conditions. Which I don’t think you can really expect from delves. At least not until we get our tank Brann in season 2. I think the many procs and instant spells from frostfire lend themselves well to delves, where you gotta think on your feet and often play in a sloppy way. Glad you’re enjoying it though. I’ve been making noise about it any chance I can get. I think it’s the best hero tree they’ve done.
Addon lacks situational awareness.
Get rid of it, and actually learn what your spec does.

You would be correct. The default sim people run (which is what they get if no settings get changed) is 5 min patchwerk, all consumable, raid buffs, and never needs to move for mechanics.

spending 19 years killing open world mobs is never going to make you better. Conversely I can probably coach a new friend on how to play mage way better than you have ever played it within a week. This is because the things you do in the game are more important than how long you have played overall.
This is the average forum user by the way. It really gets a little disheartening.
Yeah, I see people claiming to be long time MM hunter players, but can’t reliable quest without a pet, yet my MM goes from level 24 to soloing T8 delves and timing +10s within a week.

You can control those settings, but it’s what the profile is optimized for, so you can get less reliable results.
Yea they are either lying or just unfathomly unaware of even the most basic things their class and spec does. I genuinely don’t know which is worse.
What would be helpful is knowing which character.
Then some things could be relatively easily checked.

Now that’s out-of-the-way, I’m calling BS on your post because if you were playing a mage for 19 years and since you’ve really only been playing since 2011, but still since 2011 verifiable, you would know how a rotation works.
I also have a frost, mage, two of them. It has to be the most simplistic form of that spec since it was created and I could tell you that with basic 587 and 593 gear you can out DPS many. The spec is actually really good and sadly for you, really easy.
Assuming for a second that you’re correct and you are stating that you don’t know how to play frost, then I would just say go back to arcane and work your balance Druid as you suggested.
Sitting here and arguing with people on this thread though just seems to back up the theory that it’s a troll post.

Amazing, I just completed a T8 delve no problem at all with the Frostfire Hero Talent. It seems that the Spellslinger Hero talent was the problem all along.
Much much better playability with Frostfire!!

bruh frost is in a good condition. try playing a warlock, stop crying.
also have you ever played boomkin lately? that they almost have no defensives? in higher/end game content you pray that you dont get one shot.
but you have 6-7 defensives with cold snap + lust/hero + utilities/disrupts/interrupts + tons of damage for only pressing the highlighted buttons.
fyi no one cares about delve balance. get real.

Frost is fine and ia in the top 5 specs atm. Arcane however got dumpstered and then pissed on by the devs for “checks watch” doing better than they wanted it to do for all of the first month of the season. And this after years and years of being the meme spec. Honestly i think they were trolling us with sunfury and the pheonix, just so they could laugh at us as they let us plummet to the abyss like icarus flying too close to the sun.
