So i was originally trying to get a quest item swapped because i picked the wrong item on Onyxia head by mistake, I was just given the same cookie cutter responses by a few lower level tier GM’s, i asked to talk to a supervisor and yes i got one. He told me if i kept making tickets i would have my account terminated because of. “Offense: Violation of Customer Support Interaction Policy”. I read over the whole entirely of the Blizzard End User License Agreement, and i saw nothing like that on there. I even googled the offense in quotes and tagged it with “blizzard” or “Warcraft” and not a single link popped up. I then went to customer service on the websites live chat asking, i don’t see this offense anywhere, just wanted a little clarification. I was then given the response on live chat “This matter has been previously reviewed and I’m not able to discuss it any further.” Then he instantly terminated the live chat half a second after that response. When I’m literally just curious to where this offense is posted in the EULA. If there was something that i missed i just wanted to see it so i could be at ease. I feel like i have been dealt with very unprofessionally. Also, if any GM or anyone affiliated with blizzard reads this, i have screenshots of absolutely everything. I just feel like I’m being pushed around right now, when i look at my transaction history and since 2012 when launcher came out, I’ve given over $2000 dollars to the company. Thanks for reading this guys, appreciate your time.
GMs have never been able to switch quest loot if they told you they will action you on any other ticket u make on this issue is because you have opened too many tickets on the same issue and the answer will always be the same thats why they gave u a warning. Opening multiple tickets on the same issue is considered GM harrasment.
You don’t need screenshots, they have it all on their end.
GM abuse is an actionbable offense. Which includes, but not limited to, continually opening a ticket on a solved issue to try and “shop” for a different answer.
Quest loot misclicks are a hands off policy.
Thats fine, and i can understand that, I just wanted to see where that was posted as a rule for termination. Thats all.
Not all their policies need to be public. You weree informed of it. That’s all you need
So what im getting from all this is, Blizzard can make rules on the fly? If thats the case why even have a EULA to begin with?
Its not on the fly its always been like that.
It’s not “on the fly”
Customer Support Interaction Policies
Players that perform the following actions and behavior may receive an account penalty.
Submitting Multiple Tickets or Spamming
Submitting multiple tickets, or spamming, on an issue which has previously been addressed by customer support is unproductive. Such behavior may include submitting tickets with gibberish, copy and paste from previous tickets, repeated appeals, and making demands for resolutions which are out of our scope of support.
Thankyou Banewulf, thats all i wanted to read. I wish the live chat support guy could have linked me that. Instead of saying i cant do anything to help you and instantly dropping me.
And all I’m getting from this is that you don’t like to be told “No”
Because it had been addressed. Multiple times
Was just asking for information on EULA, has not been addressed a single time. Thanks for the info though.
happy we could clear that up for ya
I just wanted to make sure i wasn’t getting the shaft. I know they cant swap quest rewards but thats very unfortunate for me and im going to have to live with that. I just wanted to make sure someone wasnt getting the best of me is all.
Please just stop.
GM will never shaft the players they can sometimes misunderstand the ticket and sometimes give wrong information but if they give warnings theres usualy evidence to back it up.
Well, no ones perfect and everyone has bad days, so you cant say that with certainty.
Have a nice day and good luck in your future endeavors in Azeroth. I suggest AGAINST in continuing your train of thought on this. It will not end well. Leave it be.
Ah! Thank you sir for your words of wisdom. You too enjoy your great adventures in this beautiful world we call Azeroth! Good luck on the road to level 13!
Passive aggressive parting comments always tickle me.
