Extra Haste Anyone?

So this bug existed in ptr and mostly everyone had pointed it out and yet it was completely ignored. So we have a ptr when stuff like keeps getting ignored?

I am, but I doubt that it will make up for losing a large chunk of our best secondary stat for a proc.

This was my first thought
knowing Blizz they probably invalidated the entire talent. Sigh.

I’m serious homie can we like, get some response to this, like atleast an acknowledgment that y’all know it’s borked and needs corrected?

Thank you for fixing these major bugs instead of gutting the class.

Okay, so, I’ve been running tests since I last posted. Destro with felhunter. At first, I got strange results (reasonable dmg increase using only wrathful minion but a small dmg loss using only haste buff). 5 minute timer. Purposely didn’t select any talents that could skew the results. It was weird that, this morning, neither talent resulted in a DPS gain - then, later on, one talent was a DPS gain while the other was a DPS loss - and, finally, both talents are DPS gains. It’s worth noting that Wrathful Minion was more impactful of a gain. I re-ran all tests, several times, to smooth-out differences in crit variations and such. As of current, both talents seem to be functioning correctly (but I would like to highlight that wasn’t the case a few hours ago). Maybe big brother is watching (probably). Anyway, figured I’d update the post.

Also, makes sense that Wrathful would be a bigger gain - % dmg modifier > % haste increase. So, if you, for some reason, need to rob a talent from one for some utility or something in some weird case, keep Wrathful and lose the haste buff. Realistically, I’d say that you’d take both in pretty much every scenario, though. Take care, folks

I was so hyped when I logged in and had extra haste. I was pumped that we finally were getting some additional haste built into the talents. I’m so heart broken this was removed. :frowning: Bug, or not, it felt so much better. I know not everyone likes to play specs that function quickly, and some people are deadset that gameplay should move at a snails pace. -sigh- Glad to know this now, cause I can shelf the toon and just go back to healing for 10.1. Was excited to finally break the lock out before the final season of an expansion when secondary stats were high enough to feel fun.

It’s still a 7k DPS increase

Do we have a fix for Soul Flame only doing Rank 1 damage on a Rank 2 talent as well?

This issue has been ongoing since BFA I believe. Has something to do with the lock not being in combat when the cast goes off or something to that effect. Which is indeed annoying.

I have been in every alpha/beta. This is pretty standard for betas unfortunately. The only chance of getting things fixed is very early alpha when they are paying a lot more attention. As soon as larger waves come in they pretty much stop engaging and fixing obvious bugs, unless they are literally game-breaking. :frowning:

I suspect that was a coincidence.

Because there is no Warlock dev.

Only emergencies pull dev resources from another class.
