Extra hair colours for Voidelf

Do you even know what you are talking about? Blood elves have the name because of their prince renaming them “Sin’dorei” meaning “children of blood”. It was to honor their fallen after a Arthas wrecked the nation of Quel’Thalas.
Holy crow.
How your responses have degenerated since we began.
I suspect you knew full well the meaning behind blood elves.
Just stop with the weird responses, they aren’t helping.
I’ll go to my point. They are two different races at this point and need to be treated as such.
Meaning void elves get more void like. Blood elves get their traditional look. They should be very different, not the same.

Blizzard thinks otherwise, twice even, when they took blood elves and made them blue and then gave the option to not have them be blue.

At this point, blood elf players should be begging, for blizzard to give void elves different hairstyles and different shades of colors from blood elves, cause from the look of it, they’re obviously very comfortable copying over assets.

You need to calm down, I am aware of this. I’m simply following the narrative of your responses.

You’re right they should be different. Void elves receiving neutral options does not change this, and I don’t think void elves should strictly have “void-y” options though, though I am not against more void options and would celebrate either. I am not asking for belf hairstyles, belf haircolors, belf jewelry, etc. But in no way do I think blood elves have ownership over neutral options.
You’re entitled to your opinion, now please take a step back.

More void options would be cool, but to be fair nothing in the lore implies they’d ever get anything more than the few tentacles they already have.

Said “neutral” options are options that make them look undeniably more like blood elves though.

(Yes, the one on the left is a high elf. But a blood elf player can look exactly like that.)

I cannot fix what blizzard does. I can’t even explain why they caved in the first place. With luck that’s as far as the look goes.
I can only go from this point onward.
Void elves need real distinctive features that reflect their void study choices.
If… If they get anything more at all.
Honestly, like I said on my very first post, there are other races that need attention before the 4 flavors of elves in the game.

No one needs attention more than Nightborne.

I would say they’ve listened to the same community twice so why would they do so again when it comes at the expense of another fan groups visual distinction and their own request to keep visual distinction. I think expecting a third win would be silly combined with the fact they left some visual distinction in place.

Agreed :hugs:

Their lore? It’s what 4 paragraphs at best? I’m not sure what implications you can get from almost nothing.
We do have lots of things to draw on about void itself, and what it does.
Like extra eyes, tendrils, lots of shadowstuff, etc. Just look at any old god or is minions add an example.

All of that stuff would be cool. But nothing even comes close to implying that void elves are continuing to mutate.

gd isn’t worth that much

I still think that other races need attention before another elf does, including nightborne. I mean there are still races without their heritage set yet.
Like Orcs. Other than humans, they are by far the most known race. Yet the allied races got theirs first.
I mean come on WC2 was named Orcs vs Humans if I recall. (I was corrected below… It’s wc1… Leaving the error so the response makes sense when reading…)

To be fair I don’t really blame people for being more firm in their stance of not supporting HE options and being more outspoken on it, when many of the people you’re arguing against don’t value arguing in good faith either, its a lose lose situation. I do try to always remain respectful despite the fact that apparently bothers HE fans which to me can only be because they want an excuse for their own way of arguing but :man_shrugging:t5:

Anyways I don’t see you as toxic certainly not even close to anything / anyone else I’ve seen from people who argue for HE options :hugs:

Again, it’s difficult at the least to say what’s going on when there’s only maybe 4 paragraphs of information on them. It’s blatantly obvious that races mutate, as we’ve seen it from the beginning. How much they do is really up to the story writers I suppose.

This little tangent still doesn’t imply that void elves should look like blood elves though.
If anything, the continued study should make them more corrupt. It’s only after the corruption is gone that races start going back to some semblance of normal.

That was Warcraft 1. It was called Warcraft: Orcs and Humans.

Warcraft 2 had Tides of Darkness for the base game, and Beyond the Dark Portal for the expansion.

Nightborne literally have only 3 skin colour options. I dare you to find me a race that gets as few options as Nightborne.

Thank you for clearing that up! :grinning:

Based on what I would want? No. They would pretty much be in the same state.

This picture is based on the blue eyes (which both blood/void elves received in order to live the high elf fantasy).
Their hair colors and hair styles are restricted to the corresponding race however. And every eye color other than blue (which again, is for those who want to pretend they’re high elves) is different.

Human hair colors wouldn’t change the significance of this picture.

The fact that you can willingly make the two look also the same, is not a really good argument against more neutral options imo, because those neutral options (different hair styles and colors) can still be kept completely separate from the blood elf counterparts.

This isn’t literally a human hair colour, but it is a brown that differs from the blood elf brown that I made in GIMP. It shows that it would make them look more similar.

I would literally want the human hair colors. They wouldn’t be any more similar than the picture you presented earlier.
And like I said, this example is willingly trying as much as possible to make them look exactly the same, and they still aren’t.
Especially considering the blue eyes (which again are options given to both races to look like high elves) that are exempt since neither race had claims to it first. (well technically void elves did, sort of)

I didn’t actually make the comparison image, Izzabelle did.

I just made the brown haired void elf mockup because I wanted to see the Scandal hairstyle in brown.

Lancelot made this one using a recreation of a human hair colour. It is still visually different, but less so than they are now. The one in the middle is human hair pasted on a void elf, while the one on the right is a void elf hair made to attempt to replicate the colour.
