Well… im a tad peeved they made it appear as though you would get extra bag slots if you had an authenticator. That is not entirely true. What they didn’t say is you also have to have a phone attached to your account, which I will never do in a bajillion years.
Because they’re stealing your info? Gonna start spam texting you? What tin foil reason you got there buddy.
I mean… yes? I am very careful who I give my real email and phone number to. Everyone I know is plagued by spam junk emails and robocalls. You know who isn’t? Me.

Well given the amount of folks here that still refuse to use an authenticator, I’d say the bar is low.
Well, since you asked…since I’m not a gold-seller or cheater, I think authenticators are terrific. I suspect anyone who dislikes authenticators or calls them “nonsense” of being a gold-seller or cheater.
If an extra 4 bags gets a few thousand players to get authenticators (now it’s an IOS/Android app – anyone gan get it in minutes), I’m all for it.
I’m a hard-line #nochanger, but this statement is false. This not a game improvement. This change has nothing to do with improving Classic. This is about game security and using authenticators OUTSIDE the game.

I really like it and am glad that they did it. Yes it might have taken them to dangle a carrot in front of people’s noses, but if it does help with keeping accounts safe. Safe is a good thing.
In my opinion I don’t think it was all about the various QoL changes. I think the reason people fought to get classic were because:
- They didn’t like the overall game play
- They disliked the class changes
- They disliked the story
I don’t think the four extra slots to the backpack are a game breaker and it doesn’t add anything to the slippery slope of “adding” new things since that door was opened a long time ago.

I’m very much “no changes” … except… I don’t give a crap if they give us 50 slot bags. I absolutely and thoroughly despise bag space issues in games lol.
I love the change. With needing to carry around an NR set soon I really don’t have much bag/bank space left.
