Poor blizzard and all those hires who don’t actually know how to do their jobs properly. These single A companies really struggle these days.
At any rate a 4 hour underestimation is pretty bad.
But if they did that, then we wouldn’t get these cool threads on maintenance, and wouldnt be entertained for 8 hours while the game is down.
Man the lot of you acting like you’re anything even remotely close to world first caliber players needing the servers to get up ASAP so you can get on the hamster wheel and get your farms in before prog starts is huge.
Like don’t worry little Jimmies/Janes…your delves and LFR aren’t going anywhere. Those world quests will still be waiting for your expert selves to swoop in and kill those mean boars harassing the farmers or whatever is going on.
Honestly though I feel bad for Blizzard. Everyone in tech knows you pad out maintenance times to give yourself wiggle room for if/when things go wrong. This all reads like they anticipated a basic patch that’s now just gone totally askew.
I wish they would just put "We will be performing maintenance from 7am (pst) to 5pm (pst) even if they don’t need that much time for maintenance id rather they just say they need more time then finish early than keep baiting people and adding an extra hour over and over.
