Exponentially better gear scaling system

I mean thats the misintereptation on their behalf.

One conquest set means more people playing more alts because they feel like they can actually play the game.

Rating gated gear and outrageous ilvl scaling causes people log in to alts for like 10 minutes before logging out.

Its hurting playtime metrics, not helping.

I’d say that both are big problems, but I can see why, for some, the rate at which a player procures currency might be slightly more of an issue. We’d still be complaining about gear ranks if honor/conq were a lot easier to obtain because the ilvl disparity is too tremendous. A toon with a full rank 1 honor set will still get pulverized by any 230ilvl+ player, let alone a max ilvl PvPer. Either make honor account bound and remove the honor cap, or simply reduce the cost of gear purchases & upgrades by atleast 50%. It’s just not worth playing for a someone who levels a fresh toon when the potential gear difference can be ~60ilvl or more between them and their opponent.

Nailed it, blizz won’t do it. They’re willing to let the game completely die before getting rid of their precious tokens. What happen to good faith between businesses and customers?

I would like to bump this very simple solution

Devs are on holiday vacation until next year if I’m not mistaken.

Sometimes it’s just the leadership’s mindset. WoW earns revenue from store sales and monthly sub. It’s better to have a millions of casuals paying the monthly sub than to have a handful of no-lifers spending 40+ hours per week grinding.
