Exponentially better gear scaling system

I mean BFA season 4 was a clown show that lasted 9 months and people played that longer without quitting than they did in shadowlands season one adn there was literally no incentive to Q arena other than A.) you enjoy it, and B.) titles.

So your line of thinking here is clearly off.

People play the game because they like the game and titles and mounts are more than enough incentive to keep people pushing through adversity on ladder.

Ironically the rating gated gear discourages people and makes them quit the game, so it’s actually the opposite of what you proposed.

In MoP it was the equivalent of 3 and everyone loved it. Do you play the game? These suggestions would help you enjoy it also. Silly.

I don’t think they realize how many people would resub. I would even be able to recommend it to my friends again, would be crazy.

I can’t seem to find it now, I think I blocked them over a year ago and have since forgotten how. It think it has something to do with your own account settings though.

Edit: click on your profile pic > character tab > preferences > choose users in the second drop down menu > Add > Bloomsday-sulfuras

Agreed. The old system was friendly to casuals. They could pug a few weeks and get a full set of gladiator gear, same item level as the endgamers.

Now as the item level is unwisely attached to PvP rating, I see mostly boosters and carries remaining. Sad.

I think the massive sub increase from a change like this would trump tokens bought for carries.

The first 2 seasons of MoP still had elite gear. They removed it after s13 if I’m not mistaken. I agree with MoP/WoD gearing system being the best. Nothing beats WoD’s feasibility in terms of catching up + gear acquisition.

They literally just need to add 2 sets at this point. Having 10+ ranks for PvP gear is just absurd, considering how much of a time sink it is a grind honor/conq. If they choose not to have 2 sets, then the only other option is to increase conq/honor gains dramatically & make honor account bound.

From my perspective im pretty sure the bigger problem right now is the acquisition of conquest and honor being so low more then the ilvls themselves. If conquest had a double conquest like in BFA/Cata/Mop and Wod where it was double and you base rate which you got conquest and honor was doubled you would be seeing A LOT more people queueing alts and a lot of my casual friends who like pvp would 100% coming back.

2 Sets is cool too but I would rather get 90 conquest a win from arena which is the equivalent that we had in mop/wod and get 180 conquest a win when we are several weeks behind.
