This was reported in 2024 already, but the Magical Snow Sled is still being used to exploit in World PvP. Again those with the Bounty tag are using the toy as a cheat death, allowing them to become immune and unkillable. Since the sled has no duration the exploiter can just wait out attackers or use the movement to make it to a Sanctuary or Instance portal to evade engaging in PvP.
This needs to be addressed. The first fix is to make it unusable in combat, though there are still some ways (Shadowmeld, Feign Death, Vanish) that it could be abused.

Or just make it so they can still be attacked on the sled
Not sure why Blizzard felt the need to pacify the person on the sled and make them friendly.

Blizzard recently made it so the throwaway gansgter disguise doesn’t work in warmode. Maybe they should do it for that toy too.

There’s no reason it should even pacify the target to begin with. Just make it so that even if they’re on the sled, they can still be attacked. Very simple fix.

I would just disable it entirely. From what I understand it also gives the player a speed boost. Toys should not have any effect on pvp.

Probably because the crate farm raids got annoyed when the Undermine crate drops got yoinked by someone using this toy, and they all reported it. Or maybe a blizz employee was in a crate farm raid when this happened to them, so it got a priority fix. They seem less concerned about fixing things that affect actual pvp like the snow sled.

The reason why I dislike approaches like this is because it’s such a lazy fix and it could still be abused in areas such as Orgrimmar or Stormwind (shared hub, so War Mode off attackers could still use it since they aren’t technically in War Mode).
Very negligible. Their action bar is replaced by a vehicle bar and they can cast an ability that will “boost” them forward. If they make it so that you could be attacked while on the sled (or even kill the sled itself) then it’d be pointless if they get on it or not lol.
Yes and no? Most are disabled in instanced PvP, I agree that toys that allow you to do cheesy things like this should be fixed, but something small like a parasol for the slowfall or the pandaria only toys that increase swim speed or something are fine.

The sled wouldn’t be (quite) as annoying if it didn’t have a 5 minute cooldown. At least bump it up to 24 hours if it’s going to continue functioning the way it does.

Fair enough.

Yea. Maybe that was a bit too extreme. But the sled is definitely going too far.
The snow sled has been a problem since its inception. I remember when it first launched. You could use it in epic bgs to jump off your factions ship and slide across the sky into the other ship and destroy their airship guns if they ever took hangar. You could use it and never take fall damage. You could grab the flag and slide under the world and if you didn’t turn, it wouldn’t force a world DC.
