And I did it on 2 toons! 1200g down the drain while exploiters got it for free
nope… I spent the gold and got screwed

It’s not an exploit.
It is reasonable for someone to believe that they would get it, since there was absolutely BROKEN COMMUNICATION from Blizzard about what all of this was/was going to do.
You are downplaying your own argument. Either it is an exploit and you are an exploiter.
OR
Blizzard made a broken “fix” and once again unjustly applied it with no communication.
You can’t have it both ways.
I’m not talking about the ones that accidentally got it, I’m talking about him trying to get it and was mad when he didn’t because it was fixed.
Right, which is why I told him he downplayed his own argument.
If he thinks its an exploit, then yes; he is pretty much an exploiter.
Why would anyone assume it would happen again? They did the boost fix on Tuesday. Why would they run it again?
Why wouldn’t they? Why would my previous boost get the 150 but not my new boost? Did I pay more or less for this or that boost?
Your previous boost got 150% because they screwed up on a few other boosted characters who received no riding skill at all. Their “fix” was to run a script on every character and give them riding that equaled the highest level mount in their inventory. They ran this “fix” on Tuesday. There was nothing to suggest that they would keep doing this.
They ran this with little communication. I really don’t know why people like you like to defend Blizzard on this.
To be frank, I don’t really care. I am not affected, however, I do not blame someone for thinking that this would mean that all boosts get 150 riding. I have answered this question a lot to other people. Don’t be so self-certain. Blizzard messed up here.
How am I defending Blizzard? I’m explaining to you what happened.
The bug happened because they reset the prepatch tabard quest, not because of boosted characters. It wasn’t even really a bug. Just an oversight. Characters were rescanned to see if they had epic mounts in their bags to give them the appropriate riding skill to that mount. There is no way to repeat because it would require Blizzard to rerun that check.
Blizzard defenders contradict themselves in their own sentences.
It was because of boosted characters
No it wasn’t. It was from resetting the prepatch tabard quest. What they did was reinitialize prepatch conditions which caused the mount check. It had nothing to do with boosted characters.
If you think that’s defending anything, you need better reading skills.
Look buddy, just because you didn’t interpret something one way doesn’t mean other people didn’t. As I said, this has led to confusion among many players, Not just QQers who didn’t get the free training.
What was the mount bug?
It isn’t my fault that you are a dense moron. I am not defending Blizzard. I am simply calling you stupid.
Can you not read? I said I was not affected. I have been explaining to other players exactly what you have. I just think Blizzard is at fault here while you blame players.
Dont they still have to buy it to get flying? From what ive read you got the skill but still have to buy it to get flying.
So they still have to pay the 600g just at a later date.
I’m simply saying anyone who thought they would repeat their error are stupid. Why is this so hard for you to comprehend?
