Well how do I put it… I guess bluntly.

Blizzard doesn’t care. They have never cared enough to get off their asses and do more than the bare minimum in terms of dealing with bots. Maybe one day they’ll stop sucking at their job, but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

That’s why we need to keep reminding them
They’ve done a lot to somehow reduce the bots’ profits.
They fixed the bug with the mount.
They fixed the disconnect bug.
then they fixed the bug with the ungrouped mount.
and now no one knows what method the bug is caused by, but bots still kill in chromie time with one hit.
so we have to keep writing about the bug.
Bots are banned for the last 3 days every day or after 2-3 days.
but after a couple of days new bots appear at the same place and it can’t be stopped as long as there is a lot of profit here.

I check more than 15 servers with my alts and didnt find anything, why don’t say what server its? like:

Click–>Social(O)—>Who–>Enter 59 60.
find Burning steppes
(mostly hunters and mages)
And you can look at the different servers
Let’s keep reporting the bot

I looked up how much gold the bots are making.
Click–> Compare achivment–> Staistics—> Total gold acquired
It was 200k gold.
24 hours later it was 800k gold.
600k per day|
Bots laugh at the attempt to ban them.
It’s very rare that they get banned in 1 day.
usually 3-7 days
Well, you can count the profits and then it will be clear why they reappear after the ban.

you are wrong about the “Who” function, it only show you people from your server, so, try to include the server from where the bots are, cuz i go there and never find anybody :confused:

No one forbids creating a character on other servers
But it’s not for finding bots
It’s to add them as friends and watch when they get banned.
Bots change layers all the time and sit on low-population servers.
I think activity in this thread will be even more important than reporting bots.

Blizzard only goes after bots for PR reasons. Minimum effort needed to keep r/wow happy, so you wind up with banwaves only before a patch to cater towards PR. Problem persists for so long the damage is done and bans happen too late.

This game needed a kernel anti-cheat 2 decades ago and a real team of GMs to monitor bad actors. Not voting people off the proverbial island through automated systems type shticks.
