Explain to me why Blood DK is blasting in PvP?

There is a reason for this…tanks have insane defensive toolkits compared to normal DPS classes and always have. A Tank is never a kill target in arena and now with Tanks pulling ridiculous damage like BDK is doing there just isn’t a downside to just rolling a BDK into Arena and just W keying at the enemy all match with zero chance you die.

Tanks if anything have had a support type roll similar to Aug Evoker in Arena in the past and that’s exactly how they should continue…support role.

I love Rogues in my shuffles, they are my typical kill target unless there is a Ret pally in the match.

If tanks could actually be balanced and not just feed off melee, then maybe people would care. Nothing like watching two tanks go at it. Paint drying is more exciting.

Depends on what my friends are playing. Disc priest/Blood feels really good when the priest focuses on doing damage.

there was one in my lobby today. dude went 6-0 literally just cranking endless dps and no idk why theyre doing so much dmg now maybe deathstrike is bugged idk but that ability shouldnt be doing more than my MS and it is by over 2 milly

Agreed. blizz makes no effort to actually balance them, so every time they are a thing, its for all of the wrong reasons. Like oh, you’re invincible and now randomly one shot off of 6 months of slow creeping PVE related changes. Enjoy your takes 1400% more damage in pvp nerf to delete you, because blizz doesnt actually think tanks are a real thing.

Prot paladin is so close to being an alternative to ret, they just need to remove the guardian of the ancient queen PvP talent (the one that summons the angel that provides full immunity), slightly nerf the lightsmith hero talents, and buff their rotational damage by like 10%

Yep. For me it’s if tanks did took slightly less damage and did even less damage… fine. But now? Now they’re healing as much as healers if they are targeted. In wrath, tanks were fun while still being relatively easy to kill. No crazy healing. So the tanks gotta pick. Either you’re killable and do no damage or you get to do damage but you die.
