Honestly I’ve just sort of expected Anima to start raining from the sky later so I am not too worried about getting all the cosmetic stuff yet. I figure it’ll be easier to just upgrade all of my covenant stuff and then once we start hitting the “main” anima spender covenant upgrade (Night Fae is the birthing of gods thing) where it costs like 80k anima for one upgrade is when it’ll start to become easier to just collect all this stuff.
Also is it me or did they make reputation gains extremely easy this expansion? Already about to hit exalted with the Night Fae tomorrow and all of my other reputations are revered. Even my Ven’ari rep is half way through Cordial toward the max reputation of Appreciative, and I haven’t really been going out of my way to grind it so much as I’ve just done all the daily stuff once a day.
It’s definitely less of a grind this time around if you keep up on the daily covenant quests. I don’t think the requirements for Pathfinder in Shadowlands is out yet? Yet I’m curious if rep will be a requirement like in past ones?
If not it’ll be something like you much complete all layer 8s in Torghast or something equally painful or maybe just gold???
I’m upset that Outlaw is the strongest PvE spec and I’m upset that I’m enjoying it so much.

Torghast should reward Anima at the end of every run, proportional to the level done. Make it similar to what you get in PvP or dungeon running. (I’ve heard that you can get a lot of anima running PvP, is this true?)
Green anima tokens should reward 25 anima. Blue Tokens should reward 50.
Most of the zones could use more flight paths. Bastion in particular needs like, 4 more. Maybe 5.
The difference between the Venthyr mission table and the Maldraxxus mission table is pathetic. Maldraxxus troops are straight up better than some of the Venthyr heroes.
Please let us skip the Maw intro after our first time through it.
Just an FYI but there was actually a huge feedback thread that went unanswered about how it was nearly impossible to win Campaign missions as Venthyr and entirely impossible to win them as Kyrian and the only real response was “Well just wait until you get more champions” so for the first month of the expansion it was completely fine that you could only progress in a Sanctum feature as Night Fae or Necrolord.

Now that it sank in… I actually recognize what might actually be why Thrall regained the elements.
All considered, Thrall lore wise is the most powerful shaman present on Azeroth and when he really wants to is entirely capable of bringing the pain. More or less throughout BfA there wasn’t really anyone in the Horde as an -individual- who you could go “My leader is gonna kick you butt!”, Sylvanas could be argued but given how out of no where the 8.2.5 cinematic still was, she is discounted.
Thrall getting returned to being the World Shaman I feel is Blizz taking the low hanging fruit to plug it in and provide fire power where it’s needed… at least until Blizzard confirms what we all know with Liadrin being the most powerful Pally and Belf Blood Knights on Average being better than their human competition.
I hope it starts raining from the sky as I’m in a drought at the moment. I’d even take a light rain at this point.
I know that Blizz doesn’t consider me when mapping out game design (and I don’t expect them to), but since I’ve got limited activities in-game, I’ve got limited opportunities to get anima and WQs aren’t very rewarding in the anima dept.
I don’t have any of these.
But I am shocked at how little I’m hating this expansion. The Kyrian made me roll my eyes so hard I was able to glimpse just how smooth my brain actually is, but otherwise it’s all generally okay.
Expansion sh!t post take but are all horses canonically evil in WoW? I was thinking about this looking at the different mounts in shadowlands and disappointed we don’t get a Malaladrax bone horse but Reverendreth has sinrunners and spooky blanchy.
What do you mean “in WoW?” Horses are evil, awful creatures irl too. It’s their default state.

Tangent but I had a friend growing up that had horses stabled on base and those animals are terrifying. I remember the first time they brought me out, I was like 12 or some crap and they’re like, here’s some hay go feed buddy the horse. Just like a dog, he got super excited cuz it was food time and came running at me and idk something about this giant animal rushing towards me spooked me for life and I noped the hell out.
Then I remember they’re like, here’s some carrots he loves them and he’s so nice, hold them out but keep your hand flat or he’ll eat your fingers WHAT!?!?
Maybe my introduction to horses is just not the best but like, I’m totally cool looking at them from a distance.

WoW has a long history of horses being evil. There are evil horses inexplicably in Shadowfang Keep and, while it’s true that Paladins eventually got the ability to summon a good horse, Warlocks had been summoning evil horses for years.
