Expansion deal breakers

If the price goes up another $20-$30 I would be pretty unhappy and maybe not get it, otherwise chances are I will. Love this game, always have and always will.

Story, mostly.

So tired of morally gray everything. Can we have heroes and villains instead of ā€˜misunderstood persons’?

If you’re here now you’re here forever. Everyone with the self control to put this game down did so long ago.

I was promised pirates. If there are no pirates, consider it broken.

As I have bought every expansion so far, probably nothing. If we’re being honest.

I don’t look at the world that negatively.

When I see something new and exciting my mind doesn’t automatically go to ā€œwhat doesn’t it haveā€ or ā€œwhat will go wrongā€.

I’ll likely buy the next explanation because I enjoy the game.

If you’re one step away from uninstalling because the developers do a thing you don’t like (or exclude something you want), then maybe you need to take a break from the game.

I don’t think I’ll be buying another xpac. I’m not really excited to play it anymore…

Been playing lots of other stuff lately.

if the game moves away for rpg. Sick of the outer space and galaxy bs themes.

If it’s all void, I’d seriously consider not buying.

Pirates would absolutely kill it for me.

Anything other than that is fine.

If they continue removing fun things…

RIP reforging, original glyphs, key rings, archeology, first aid, profession perks, original enchants, original gemming, simbiosis, class quests, expansion based pvp zones, original reputation system, some guild perks lost along the way, daily hubs, rep tabards, badges, callings & flight at max!

And if they continue adding some sort of timegating and RNG to every little place they possibly can.

Also, why can’t we just buy items from rep vendors for gold like we always could? Why do we have to fly back to the AH to get a few random doodads to trade instead? This isn’t RPG flavour… this is tedium to make the transaction take longer!!!

I honestly doubt there’s anything WoW could do that would prevent me from trying it. More likely would be something external like RL issues or another game.

Yeah I’m over the expansions having the entire theme be that for the entire expansion. Who the heck wants to play an all void expansion. Pirates I wouldn’t mind as much…

idk. im a wow addict.

i stuck thru bfa and shadowlands so its gonna take a lot to get me to quit for good lol

This, pretty much.

I like new stuff, expansions have new stuff, thus I will purchase whatever it is.

I think the only thing that might make me refuse to buy an expansion and leave WoW forever is if they tried to do this stupid ā€œWoW 2ā€ thing and completely reboot like some people want it to.

I will have to wait and see what the next expansion holds before I make a judgement call.

Price tag. I can’t justify $70 for a standard edition of a game or exp, which is why I haven’t even considered D4. I get it; inflation, marketing, development, etc. etc. I can wait until it’s on sale and practically being given away.

might as well start uninstalling now then.

Void vs Light as the main theme running through the whole expansion.

In terms of solo world content, I originally considered 10.x to be the last chance. However, they have improved in some ways, and have regressed in others. There are more things to do, but even less ways to improve Ilvl. General mobs don’t drop much at all, and I’ve, so far, seen two green items drop and I’m on my 4th alt now. WQs are offering items 20 levels below my current, and going back and working on quests are now offering 60 ilvels below my current. We get upgrade currency, but solo endgame has really resolved down to incremental counter increases and once a week zerging a couple events for any possible upgrades.

It’s not much fun grinding counters…

It would be foolish to say that it can’t get worse, but it very well could be in 11, and if it is, that will be the end of it for me.

Heart for the first half.

But as to the second, that’s actually a really terrible and ineffective way to house train a dog. All it does is make them scared of you (which can lead to aggression) and to think going to the bathroom is something they have to hide. This is coming from someone who has spent half their life working in the veterinary field. Don’t hit dogs for having an accident.
