None of their internal organs function beyond the bare minimum to keep them ambulatory.
They are still rotting.
No, they’re unnatural is what they are. Certainly not alive, either.
They can drown (even though it takes longer than regular humans). They are certainly breathing.
They can’t drown in Retail, at least.
Drowning in Classic for a Forsaken is purely a gameplay mechanic.
If you go to Northrend they also have frosty breath. Perhaps they don’t need to breathe, but can if they want to.
Doesn’t change the fact they’re unnatural and should not exist.

Better to be a rational thinking Undead than a mindless Undead slave to the Scourge. So they don’t really have a choice in the matter.
Humans = Humans
Dwarves = Small stronger Humans
Gnomes = Smaller smarter Humans
Night Elves = Tree Humans
Orcs = Alien Savages
Tauren = Cow Savages
Troll = Tree Savages
Undead = Abomination Savages

why are alliance so blind? your prince arthas escalated all this, big dummyfaces. not to mention humans, gomes and dorfs are big ots. plus, you cant even differentiate between scourge and forsaken. this planet isnt yours, obviously- thats why theres been a sleeping titan inside. all this because you are jealous of thrall, the true warchief and king of the elements.

the traitor’s son blackmoore? who plotted against his own people. who raised thrall for secret ambitions- like overthrowing a weak alliance ? thrall survived in the wilderness as a baby before he was found, seems eminent that azeroth and the elements want him for something. like maybe all the chaos in years to come?
you should look into the lore, maybe then you will realize how messed up the alliance are-- lots of bigotry
