Another case of Fyrakk Assault / Suffusion Camp at 100%, watching Fyrakk come across the zone, and then just as he is about to arrive… SHARDED! New shard ID, up for 5 minutes, event at 1%. No rare for you! Apparently you can no longer expect to complete any content in the outdoor world that takes any amount of time. Blizzard, can we stop with this ridiculousness already?? If you actually expect people to complete non-instant event content in the outdoor world, you gotta provide a way to do it…

Got the Fyrakk Assault back up to 100%, rare spawned, had him down to about 50%, and, you guessed it, SHARDED AGAIN!!! This is INTOLERABLE, Blizzard. FIX THIS!!!

I wish they would fix this. Its been killing my ability to play game. Its gotten unplayable if you are trying to do anything. Dream seeds, fyrakk world boss, rare mobs, the big cook pot event, etc. If i try to do same event again on the new shard it resets again sometimes. There are more even happens with herbs and ores sometimes, less important though. I know it happens because I will be at ‘rare’ ore/herb spawn and i’ll lag and suddenly its a plain ore or herb.
I actually unsubscribed over it.

Yeah, I’m kind of in the same place. I gave up. Even leveling becomes painful.
This has been a pain for farming Elemental Storm rares, particularly the “ultra” rares (the ones unique to each storm). It seems that one of the four unique rares spawns approximately every 20-30 mins, so it’s generally possible to see all four during a 2 hour storm. However, with all the sharding you are more likely to see the same unique rares multiple times (and therefore no loot) or not see them at all.

A few minutes ago I was farming Sealed scrolls in the forbidden reach for the achievement and right as I was about to loot at least 5 scrolls from 10 minutes worth of corpses I was forced into another shard, they disappeared, and a player was already there farming.
I really hope the loot I earned gets mailed to me but not sure yet if it will. I don’t even know if a ticket will help they may just say ‘tough luck farm some more’. This is so irritating. The storms also shard me without warning even when in combat.
I will be mad if I got screwed out of scrolls I have to farm again.
I 100% understand this is similar to issues i have been facing. it is very crazy.

This issue is still a problem. It is not fun to solo the 20-30+ mobs to progress Moonfang’s spawn on Darkmoon Island, only to be sharded as soon as I create a premade group. Please fix.
Another month, still an issue.
I start up a new custom Premade Group for Fyrakk’s Fury/Assault/Disciple, Suffusion Camp already at 100%, Kretchenwrath already pulled and down to 80-90%, I’ve already tagged them, and the moment I list the group I get sharded to a server at 0%.
Please fix, I can’t solo this content on my alts and the tool provided is preventing me from playing with others in this mmo game.

Yesterday, I was shifted from a server waiting from Oondasta to one where he was dead in front of me, without a spawn or anything.

Killing rares in an Dreamsurge elemental storm, just cleared the mobs around a rare waiting for its Dreamsurge wait to end, tagged it twice, then I was sharded with the rare gone and all the mobs up again. This sharding mid-activity nonsense HAS TO STOP. If you must, put new players entering a zone into a new shard, but never change the shard of a player that hasn’t changed location!

This is still an issue. I’m standing in front of Beledar’s Spawn with no one around. I put the ping into general and maybe two show up. I start a custom group, and I’m sharded. C’mon, this isn’t fun.

Absolutely still an issue, and not just with rare spawns. The same thing happens with The Originals where you can sit and wait (beyond 30 mins) for anyone else to show up and no one does; or, all of a sudden ill be surrounded by what is clearly a group, but from a different faction - best case scenario. More often than not, after sitting and waiting 5 to 10 minutes, I’ll start seeing players rez indicating they’ve just participated in the event. Last week, I wasnt able to complete The Orignals at all because of this. It feels overly empty and not like an MMO at all. Home cities, world events, and world content are noticeably affected.
I’ve tried buffing others, hoping it will trigger activity on the shard, etc. Interaction may or may not work to beat the shard system, and sometimes it feels like it does… but that is only if other players are even visible to interact with.
It really sucks.
I recommend going into the Group Finder, select Premade Groups, then Custom and look for either the world boss name or “Originals” to find a group. This tends to be a lot faster than waiting around on your shard and hoping people show up.

That only kind of works . You get invited end up in different phase boss dies you get saved and never see it . Whole raid gets moved to other phase with boss half dead . Can go on and on seen it all happen . That is why I did not buy new xpac only thing is starting to see it in CATA too . So now thinking hard on unsubbing .
