Just think though since every race added to the game has been able to be ranged/heals it would be only fair for the next race to only be melee tank.
What if we take away VDH then? They can have 2 mdps specs instead.
Just seem absurd to me that Blizz somehow came up with a dragon based race that can’t tank. Dragons are as tanky as it gets!

It’s not about “balanced” tanks, they ran out of ideas a while ago. There are only so many things you can do with tanks and Blizzard has exhausted the pool.
DH has heals spec? DK has heals spec? Since when? 
That would be fine, take Vengeance and give it to Evokers, and Demon Hunters can have Retribution, instead.
As in spells and abilities or? Like if they can make dragon barf heals, they can make more tank spells. I’m not sure what you mean by exhausted the pool.
Better question is will wow be around long enough for another race. It’s getting awfully long in the tooth.
I really don’t think having evoker tanks will help the tank shortage. The reasons folks don’t tank are all still going to be there.
Blizzard should make tanking easier in LFR and normal difficulties to encourage more tanks. Then more people will gain some tanking experience under their belts without the pressure when just starting out. Like give tanks pop-up hints and directions to help those who get lost or aren’t sure how to tank a certain boss. Maybe give them an added incentive as well?
We won’t have enough tanks until Blizzard takes steps to alleviate the reasons people don’t tank.

Nothing was stolen from warlock, rather warlock stole from demon hunter
Because the og demon hunter in WC3 already had meta
Because every hero class has had a tank spec it was time for a hero Class to be caster healer class
They also said that we cannot change the covenant and here we are .

I’m surprised that they aren’t. I don’t get the stigma that there’s “Too many Melee!” Which…sure, that is plausible but then you have to ask, why is it you made this happen? Survival Hunter wasn’t originally melee. Rogues/Warriors could potentially have a fourth spec for ranged…
And since the reveal what went into making Evoker and made them how they are, it doesn’t make sense. Both Devastation and Preservation comes from their ability of whatever aspects they draw power from. And yet, you’re telling me, the big bad dragon (Before Deathwing became bad) didn’t bother to infuse the Dracthyr with the defined ability of what made him the Earth Warder? Because clearly Dracthyr can’t tank because they didn’t inherit Neltherion’s tankiness. If they did, then WHERE IS THE TANKINESS!?
