Evoker's are going to be able to spend large parts of combat in their visage form

Let’s reflect on the debate so far, so originally it got announced non-evokers were going to be allowed to fight in visage, and a lot of people were extremely upset over that, and that ended up happening despite their pleas to force players to only use the Dracthyr form for combat, now it seems like they’re partially expanding this change to evokers, another really tragic and humiliating loss and defeat for the “You picked a dragon, not a human or elf, so you have to play a dragon” crowd.

What do you guys think of the fact that people “picked a dragon” and will in fact, not be forced to play a dragon? At least for large portions of combat.

Where have you been? This is weeks old news and debate. A causal perusal of the Evoker forums would have shown you that.

I would rather they just make a drachthyr model that I’m not embarrassed to be in.

Turns out, Dracthyr are actually PvP Servers incarnate.

Visage = Warmode, and they can turn it on/off whenever they please.

People didn’t like being stuck as a Dracthyr/PvP toggled on.

Instead of being ganked in PvP, you’re stuck ugly lol.

You’re being ganked in terms of mogging.

Just think it’s a funny comparison.

Before: No matter how hard Dragons pretend to be something else their true form is dominant.

Now: True form is a minor inconvenience selected at birth and atrophies as identity becomes dominant.

Lol people wouldn’t actively avoid dragon-form if it didn’t look like Jar Jar Binks.

It was just not what many wanted/envisioned when asked for a ‘dragon humanoid’.

If they were 4-legged bestial dragons, I’d be playing one right now. Something akin to Druid in Bear form.

But they’re not, and never will be.

I don’t really care. It doesn’t affect me and it will make others happy to have the option.

The absolute worst part about playing an evoker for me has always been being forced into that ugly dragon form. This change will actually let me enjoy the spec especially considering how much customization there is for the visage forms.

Evoker’s spend the most of their time in Hover which forces Dracthyr form (I have played the PTR), which kinda makes this whole thing useless. Hover needs to let us keep our Visage form.
