I think if it stays mythic sark drop only as long as it’s 100% it’s fine. Let legendaries be legendary again.

Its also a bit of a bummer for crafters since some servers will never craft this item. I’m sure its real easy to say mythic only is fine if you don’t play evoker or craft. But just a quick look at the first part of the chain is already prohibitive enough to lock out your average casual player anyway. The biggest ones being 20x dracothysts which are crafted on a daily cd but buyable and 20x shadow ingots which require a rare raid drop to craft.

I think we need to go further

Server first mythic sark and only 1 evoker per raid should get it

So people that play endgame in m+ or PvP ( even at high levels) get shafted by not raiding. This weapon is 100% going to bis in all forms of content.

If it’s going to come only from raid, make it not basing equipable in m+ and rated PvP

I think it’s fine to be mythic only.

Not everyone needs everything.

Don’t do CE. Don’t do KSH. Legendary has an okay model and no value besides a power boost in the current tier.

What a waste of resources that would be, 12 classes are already not getting a legendary or a quest and the 1 class that does get it can’t even start the quest chain without being lucky enough to be the 1-2 evokers in a cutting edge mythic raid team. Can’t get it by pushing 5000 m+ rating or pvp rating its just being allowed to play a class in cutting edge raiding. If it dropped from normal or heroic on a low drop chance it would still be plenty prohibitive.

I understand not having it drop in LFR but Heroic and maybe Normal should have been on the table. You cannot compare Molten Core/Sulfuras/Thunderfury and Naxx/Atiesh with modern Mythic raid for this one. The only things that should be Mythic exclusive are some achievements, some titles, and the Mythic transmog. Anything else is just a middle finger to the overwhelming majority of your paying customers.

Was this made just so the devs that actually play the game can promote their boosting/carry services?

Its ok nonevoker casters will get a legendary in two expansions and it’ll be from pvp so we’re good.

I wonder what kind of shenanigans you could get up to with a pvp sourced legendary, like what kind of affects would it have? “Shadowfury now casts in the same location again every 5 seconds for 15 seconds”

Legendaries being rare is fine with me.

probably something to do with interupts maybe like auto having that talent that rewards you for juking kicks built in and maybe automatically drops a legendary flag of ownership on people. It also won’t have vers because of course it won’t.
