At the start of the isles.
As i imagined it’s the only one with soar so we have access to treasures and gathering nodes. I like it.
Of course dragon riding comes in play quickly, but still at the very begining, it’s fun to fly while everyone else is stuck to ground

For like… 20 minutes? It takes no time at all to get the base drake, and the base drake runs laps around Soar.

The flying energy still takes awhile to charge up right away In the beginning. What soar can do is let you hop into the air again after completely exhausting your dragon,

Yeh, I get that, but that’s my point. You can recharge vigor in the air with the drake, so while I was gathering the the glyphs it would have been more trouble to land, use Soar, and then get on the drake again.
All I did was grab enough talent for the first vigor recharge, and then I went and grabbed all the rest of the glyphs before applying them. My drake had 4 vigor, and only the first recharge, and I flew around the island without having to land other than to find a safe spot to respond to discord messages or look at my map. I never ran into an opportunity to use Soar.

My friend dragged me all around for all the dragonriding upgrades last night. Took half an hour.
Good god i never run out of vigor. Soar could never, and it makes me mad.
