Maybe Blizzard has higher standards than I do, but I’ve never really understood why they don’t just treat it like when you have on a disguise. Sure, it’s ugly sometimes, but I’ll take it over the alternative.
The change doesn’t affect you. You don’t have to use it. It can be toggled.
I swear people that are against this change carry the same energy as the spiteful envious kid at the playground angry that another kid has a new toy to play with.
Any new customization is a good. And for the record, I’m a huge advocate of both visage battle form, AND regular dragon form having much better transmog and customization options.

This remains to be seen. I haven’t actually messed with the battle visage stuff, so I don’t know how satisfied I am yet. 
That said, I’m 1000% on board with expanding transmog options for dragon form. I think it’s just going to take a lot more work than a stop gap measure like battle visage would which is why visage was prioritized.
honestly I want to be in visage for EVERY spell. The dragon form is so ugly. If it comes to certain spells I hope it’s just hover if anything…..

I mean unless they change some spells which I personally would be surprised by, it will be every spell that transforms you. VE, disintegrate, empowers, hover, rescue, azure strike, etc.
Then it would be pointless because you would basically flicker in and out of form constantly during combat.
I think disintegrate and azure strike will likely be out of form.
NGL, if hover makes you turn into a dragon then this feature is basically useless lol

No disagreement, but I haven’t seen anything saying that it will be changed not to and I’ve come to expect minimal effort.

Yes exactly. If they don’t change some of our core rotation spells, specifically the ones you mentioned, this is all but a pointless change. Suley they know this… r…right?
Assuming they dont update hover etc but we dont have to guess just wait a couple of days for the ptr
Hover is certainly included in.
The only way it wouldn’t is if they make the wings pop in the Visage form and add special hovering animations to it. And that takes some work, so…

I mean, it’s not really that much work. They already have hover animations in the game - go press Apotheosis on priest for one.
There’s plenty of existing behavior to leverage. Hell, the male and female dracthyr forms already use the blood elf and human skeleton and animations respectively. In fact, I bet it’d be relatively easy for them to do.

The dracthyr were made with androgynous female as the base model, look at the faces and initial body chest options.
No wider shoulders, no narrower waist, no wider jawline and chin. The snout is also thing with no wider options.
You can make a workable male dracthyr, but unfortunately the options are very limited.
Don’t know if I posted this already because there is like 5+ battle visage threads in 4 different locations.
I wish that they just copied the dracthyr model, removed the wings and just made them appear during hover in visage form. Barbershop it to pick the color or having preset glyph colors would be ok. Anything else than to be a test tube gekko as someone mentioned. Dragon lore is so cool, but whatever happened during dracthyr creation should be illegal.

everyone benefits from dracthyr having tmogs, not just dragon only players.
Can we get our passive that heals us out of combat to work when in lizard form so those of us that like being a lizard don’t have to change into visage to get the healing effect?
