They need not a 3rd spec.
This would be ideal.
While getting a class to max is very easy anymore, it doesn’t feel like you get the same value for effort. And if your preferred spec gets a bad update, then you’re only left to heals as Evoker and Tank as DH.
I really want to see more options… its getting stale when nothing changes playstyle wise… mages are always ranged and warriors are always melee… idk… a thrower spec for warriors making them a mid range dps. mage having a spell blade/bladesinger (like D&D) for a melee… idk… just something
I would like to see more true hybrid specs. Ones that actually play as hybrid and are used in that manner. Honestly many specs play very similar. My Monk, Frost DK and enhancement shammy feel very similar. I know they changed it to bring the player and not the class, but so much identity is lost.
Druids need a 5th spec.
I don’t know about Demon Hunter. I think they’re okay as they are.
But for Evoker I think it would be neat to get a melee DPS spec that is the other side of the coin to Enhancement Shaman.
Where Enhancement is fast attacks with two weapons and (mainly) wind and lightning. The Evokers could be a slow, two-handed spec that causes earthquakes and lava eruptions. I think that would be pretty neat.
What’s another DH spec gonna do? DPS… more? You know if blizz were to try and make a third spec, they will GUT the two we currently have. They will remove things to bulk up the third spec, making DH have even less buttons overall.
Original demon hunter in wc3 made it purely ranged, while non demon form was your normal havoc play style.
