I killed my entire guild by turning on Path of Frost in ToC after we killed the Twins. Twice.
Bonus round: I killed four of them in Ahn’kahet the same way.
The yelling at me on Vent made it worth it.

I used to sell Wine of Zamorak well above asking price.
Mine was recent
I like to use the engineering knock back belt. I would go on the deep run tram with warmode on. Wait till I see some lowbie get onto the tram then get in the same cart as them. Once it gets moving I reveal myself. They normally do a /greet or a /wave. I just keep spamming /wait
Once we get to the water section which is the half way point I will use the knock back belt. This will fling them off the tram but cause no damage. Now they have 2 options, hearth or run all the way back which is a good walk because you can’t mount.
My spy add-on would keep going off every I would pass them on the tram as they were walking back.
Good times
Okay so, back in Vanilla before a certain patch you had to stop at each flight point. You couldn’t just fly across an entire continent, you stopped and picked a new destination each time.
So we hatched at evil plan. 90% of Horde flights in Kalimdor went through Crossroads, so we went over there as Alliance, pulled the flight master, and trained him off into the hills of the Barrens. We figured we’d get a tank to take his aggro and just hold him somewhere as long as we could. Instead, the flightmaster glitched and got stuck on a rock and wouldn’t move. So we could safely stand there out of his range.
After about 45 minutes I ran over and peeked over the wall into Crossroads, there was probably 150+ Hordies sitting there stuck wondering where their flightmaster was. I’m pretty sure a GM had to respawn the guy.
Back in Wrath druids got a new abilitiy called Typhoon with a short CD and a gloriously large knockback. I think I spent the entire first day sitting on those gondolas knocking alliance off to their death.
Stole someones house in Ultima Online. It was possible to do and I done did it. I wouldnt do it today, but ultimately it was part of the game and I enjoyed that damn house for a long time after I “foreclosed” on the original owner.
I forgot to refresh my brother’s house in UO when he was doing basic training It caused him to quit the game.
OUCH I hope that wasnt me… Lake Superior shard… Isle of Fire?
EDIT: NM when you didnt refresh it it just fell apart and left the contents on the ground right? Thats how you got a plot after the land masses filled. I flat out took a standing house with the key.
Way back in Ultima Online my friend and I would use hiding skill on either side of the road leading from a dungeon to town. We knew people passing by would have a lot of loot from their dungeon run that they were heading to town to bank. But as they got closer we would kill them and take all their stuff. We would then pass the loot to an alt, rinse and repeat until an angry mob from town came and ran us off.
In the same game, I used to also hide in a dungeon and use my stealing skill to rob the mob someone else was fighting. So they did the work and I got the loot. It didn’t always work because they caught on quickly, and sometimes I wasn’t quick enough to get away.
There’s more, but I’ll leave it at that for now.
Yeah I remember those days. This was after they added the securing feature and the owner and visitor lists.
Lol my brother was a tinker and I was an alch. We would create trapped boxes and put them on the road. W/o fail people would open them and die.
Relentlessly murdered people in Halaa to farm the Talbuks. Before the Talbuks were given out for practically nothing.
Oh, and instead of using a Soul Stone on a healer or someone who could rez when the raid is about to wipe, I’d use it on myself so I don’t have to run back.
I think the evil thing I’ve done is have a little bit too much fun with leap of faith in dungeons when Cataclysm came around. Lol
When Devine Intervention was a thing I may have abused it occasionally by bubbling the tank and watching events unfold.
Ahahahahaha I love you so much
Depends on what you define as evil. If you are referring to just being a dick in general i guess you could qualify this as evil.
I was a very active raid leader during wrath and BC and this took place in BC. We were raiding kara or we were going to that day. Me and my best friend who were guild master had a guildie who was a very mild mannered, agreeable guy with a hint of desire to belong. He was very diligent and would spend all day farming mats for the raid, not just for himself but for as many as he could.
So just like every week he is waiting with all the raid goodies outside of the raid well before people even had begun to log on for the raid. We had a high attendance of DPS that day and we had to cut someone. Being the jerks that we were we decided to cut our diligent mage friend who was sitting outside kara waiting for the raid. Simply because it was the path of least resistance as we know he would right away be like “Oh i understand, you do what you gotta do”.
Here is the kicker, we had no issue robbing him of the raid goodies he had spent all day gathering for the raid and ONTOP of that he sat outside kara during the whole raid just incase someone dipped out and we would be needing his services. We did not end up needing him that night.
He remained our friend until this day but he doesnt play wow anymore so we dont speak that much. I feel bad for how we did him that day and it wasnt very good raid leading.
Bonus: My friend the guild master led a pug in vault during wrath and the mount dropped. Now this mount was ninja looted 80% of the time by the raid leader at the time and this day was no different. Only thing is it was our diligent mage friend who had the winning roll lol. We did not deserve him.
Also killing farmer saldean in westfall for hours preventing alliance players progress in westfall was pretty evil as well.
I mearly logged in…muahahahhahahaahahahhahahahahahahahah!!
(ohh ohh strike that… I tried to tank once)
Told a lowbie they could talk to a flagged Alliance player by clicking on them.
Also i dont know if you could consider Dayz an mmorpg but that game brings out peoples darkest sides. The evil i have seen and committed in that game scares me sometime.
haha I love it.
I sometimes use the old herbalism potion that turns you into a plant then camp out in the starting areas.
