First red whelp my (now ex) wife killed back in classic, dropped the pet. over 4000 kills later, still could not get one for me. That started my pet collecting (back when that was 2/3 of my bag space)

There’s not a whole lot of competition for them atm. Every expansion starts this way. Give it a few months and watch those subs go down. Anyways that’s besides the point

current age still has loot RNG. Last time I played FF14 (stormblood) bosses dropped 2 pieces of gear for 8 players. So there is very well a chance to get no gear when going up against a boss.

The only difference is there are tokens you can get so after farming a boss X amount of times you will -eventually- be able to buy loot.

Only cause you can download straight from Blizzard. Once you couldn’t do that. Sorry that means jackcrap 1-2 mil subs compared to 12 mil subs this once amazing game had. Btw dwiddling by the week.
