This just says how little you know about wotlk raid progression. NO one ever stopped running ulduar. For the same reason no on in WoW classic stopped running MC. The legendary healing mace achieved through the raid is enough to still do it every single lockout through the entire expansion.
It’s an extreme example to illustrate the absurdly of what some on this forum are asking for.
None of their proposed changes are game breaking and no one can make that argument in good faith.
In each instance they have explained why they believe the change needed to be made. You’re free to disagree with their reasoning but everyone acting like the sky is falling just looks like a bunch of ![]()
My guild in og wrath literally never went back to ulduar after ToC release.
So, the game revolves around you and your guild then.
So a strawman, yeah?
The changes Blizzard is incorporating in Wrath Classic are manufacturing new problems for balancing/gear progression/class viability in PVE and PVE/etc. It’s pretty clear that this is more of a reforge than a re-run of Wrath, and the changes will throw many things out the window without a great alternative or reasoning.
There’s nothing wrong with players dragging their heels against the current and pushing for the game we know was good instead of a reworking that might be a disaster.
So you have trouble with reading comprehension eh?
Yeah they probably didnt farm MC or have a thunderfury tank in vanilla either.
This hyperbole is as/more absurd compared to my example.
I can see why blizz doesn’t like communicating with the player base. I would be tempted to tell you nothing during development then post the changes that were made to the game and why and let people decide if they want to play. There’s so much entitlement and whining here.
Multi-million user games shouldn’t be treated like a pet project where either people play or not— there’s at least some responsibility to deliver a game that appeals to the majority. It’s not an entitlement to have a view of how the game should be (especially when the view is based on the original version of the game they’re currently remaking).
It just sounds like you’re here to stir up crap with people and I’m not super interested in continuing with that lol
It really feels like you have no clue what you are talking about.
How does tuning TOC raid down a bit make this retail?
If they dont squish Ulduar is completely done, zero reason to go back and everyone gets full bis from super easy and super boring TOC.
Do i have this wrong? Isnt squishing TOC making this more like classic so we keep doing Ulduar even with TOC out?
OK in the post they said they were looking too nerved Everything by 13 item levels OK Ulduar 10 219 toc 232 What’s 32 - 13 =19 So how is what I said not making sense.
And that’s across-the-board on every single difficulty of toc So if they nerve everything by 13 item levels there will be no power difference between tier 8 and tis 8 and 2 or 9 The only power you may gain is because of a tier set bonus yeah no that’s not a good feeling no one would do Do it plain and simple.
making changes to iLvls that were not in the original run of WotLK makes it more like the original. . .wut.
yes. . .yes you do have it wrong.
I for one think you got this right
100% agree.
Unfortunately, yeah
The statement is that it is not 1 raid they will lower ToGC and ICC and likely ruby sanc too. Overall it will be an ilvl nerf to the game of 13 i think it is on those 2 tiers.
Oh man please don’t nerf Ruby Sanctum. How will I live without my off set pieces!
While i can see the sarcasm dripping from this comment… it was more to show that it is 2 raids and a spare boss not just ToGC.
We will be fine. WotLK raids are easy.
oh look. now we don’t want changes anymore.
#WeToldYouSo
No one would’ve signed up for changes impacting how raiding works for most of the expansion. Don’t come at people like that when the most common things people wanted to see were QoL improvements and basic bug fixes that people wanted to see fixed since the game launched lol
