Horde is indeed awesome but there are merits to the Alliance as well.

Draenei, Gnomes, Worgen, and Nelves have no home, Dwarves are a split faction. Humans are the consistent race with established territory. Do you go to a new land and demand leadership? Makes no sense that anything but Human would be a leader.
I play both. I only play Alliance duplicates tho (Paladin, Druid and Monk). Other than that, full on Horde. 
I hope stromwind also looses their damnable home as well…
It’s because of that race, the alliance is in turmoil.
Well 4/6 races already have so at this point it’s not looking entirely unlikely.
I built it with a stick alone.
it’s an ingenious/devious ploy for blizz to buff Ally racials thereby selling future faction transfers

I have exponentially more Alliance toons than Horde.
Of my 13 level caped toons, only 3 are Horde, and I play them the least.
If everyone was playing Horde, I wouldn’t see many Alliance players playing, but I see a lot, at all hours, on the servers I play on.
There’s also always several Heroic Warfronts listed along with weekly assault bosses in the group finder to join. You’d think the group finder would be empty on the Alliance side, but it’s not.
Now, if you’re talking Warmode shards… quite possible, but I’ve no experience with that.
The two biggest reasons I find behind a person’s motivation to switch factions - The newest race, and the racials/overall success of the faction. There’s no absolute, direct correlation between racials and success, but pretending they don’t play a part is like saying there’s no difference between the Paladins that don’t use Avenging Wrath versus the ones that do.
But the popularity of any given race is apparent just visiting the faction capital and opening your eyes. Blood Elves and Vulpera everywhere you look. Every other Horde race only stands out because they stand taller.
I mean, it’s a constant trickle. Alliance racials are useless, and even if Blizz made them useful all of the best raiders and guilds are H-side. They should honestly just loosen up the faction restrictions at this point.
Horde has always been number one. The peak of alliance was vanilla and has lost steam ever since then.

Horde racials are better for DPS and they’re locked in so you can’t switch easily, and a stream of social media influencers have now switched after a long period of decline. The same thing sadly is going to happen with covenant abilities in SL because they failed to learn the lessons of the horde racials: you’ll see a raid of 28 Venthyr Fire Mages if it destroys for example, there will be plenty of stuff in there like that.
Personally even though most of my friends have made the swap to horde I am staying Alliance. Back in 04 I started with a Night Elf druid, and while shes become a Worgen now and days I will stick with my chosen faction. Also for SL Ill be going Night Fae for my fire mage reguardless of if there is a better DPS covenant because I like the idea of a cooldown for all my spells. I will be that rare player who also chooses due to story and without giving away too much though its well known them bringing a certain someone back to us sealed the deal for me.
The horde actually does exactly this. Remember the Horde didn’t even exist on Azeroth until a band of green, juiced up aliens came crashing through a portal to take over Azeroth. Almost everything bad that has happened on Azeroth is linked to the actions of the Horde.

Top Russian guild is going alliance for SL.
For dwarf anti bleed in nathria and wm bonus.
Really they should just redo racials so the best ones have an alternative representation on the other faction.
Troll berserking given to worgen for example.
If all strong racials had a counter balanced representation or if racials could be chosen…
This game can be about lore and rp OR it can be about min maxing but it can’t be both.

Just remember, alliance used to out number horde, it only started to shift in wod.
Horde always had a more passionate community, and in time it won out.

Alliance custom champion chopper. I do like this bike mount in all seriousness.
A better looking garrison. At least for that final 5000 upgrade you went this palce looks nice. Vice the horde one where its like yay…its bigger mud huts. Still mud huts though.
