Re: this thread’s title: At this rate, I’d say I probably hate the forums. Reading the forums is actively detracting my enjoyment of the game (which in its current state is, imo, imperfect , tons of room for improvement, but still worth my time). Contemplated making an I quit troll thread but I gather it’s best to just exit quietly.

Apparently my thoughts on maximizing gear and being a “Solid” player can’t exist together, that good players somehow don’t push for end game gear via end game content.
Yet shammy here is all hell bent on just talking out his rear as he pushes for higher Ilvl gear in end game content.
If you say “WOD WAS BEST” I’m sure half a dozen will come flocking in here to justify how they’re right and you’re wrong, then refer to your “skill level”.

Well not only is your opening statement a fallacious argument, but it’s an assumption which is a very inaccurate assumption. “Prejudice” is the word that comes to mind.

Essentially your entire way of handling a situation is a repeat of our history in the last 100 years in treating people unfairly, better yourself.
I have never played FF14 nor do I care if they dislike wow and left, the odds are they left wow after having lost all hope in the team after numerous disappointments.
Not everyone is on that pain train.
I played ESO since it’s Beta and WoW when it was vanilla, and lost my account back then, and played other games instead due to Blizzard’s inability to resolve the issue.
Either way, disagreement doesn’t make someone a shill, but if your whole agenda is to re-enact Germany or the Soviet union with people who disagree, be my guest, it doesn’t end well for anyone.
I don’t need to read your wall of text to know what I said in that first sentence totally applies to the person you think only has minor gripes.
