They are quite hard to replace for casters, at least the level 60 version. All of this just comes from peoples automatic assumption there will be better in gnomer.

For p2, the bracers (assuming we get them), are ilvl45 and epic and aren’t really poorly itemized for leather users. Gnomer bracers would need to be blue around ilvl47-48 or epic around the same ilvl to be strong. Forest Stalker’s Bracers are already heavily prioritized towards Agility more than the other stats, so even if a Gnomer wrist comes out that’s low on Stamina and high on offensive stats, the WSG epic bracers are already slanted that way.
So Gnomer would need a bracers with a stat WSG doesn’t have, like hit% or crit% to really seal the deal as BiS. It is doubtful the ilvl is going to get dramatically inflated as well, since BFD really didn’t overdo it for its own drops, barring a select few. So its possible some ilvl50 bracers exist in Gnomer that have heavy offensive stats budgeted, low stamina, and either %hit or %crit… but I doubt it.
And unless they have a gimmick proc on them, the DPS difference is likely very small.
This. Just because Gnomer exists as a raid with retooled items doesn’t mean every slot gets a fancy new gear choice we all seek out. Look at BFD BiS lists… they aren’t 100% BFD drops right now.
This is still Vanilla underneath… there are likely oddball greens out there that will compete heavily with Gnomer drops due to itemization. Nothing stops Blizzard from making the solitary cloth caster drop a big bonus armor piece with no damage on it and loads of stamina.
This is the only acceptable answer for why you are farming WSG rep.
BFD had no bracers for many classes. Wouldn’t be surprised if that remains true in Gnomer.
Regardless, I had fun getting to exalted in SoD. So much so that I did it twice.
Season of discovery is dead once new content is gone, if you think any different then the “cope” is only within yourself friend.
