Everyone can be a druid now

Is this your first time on the forums or something lmao?

His sons aren’t Wild Gods though.

The only case of a descendant of a Wild God, Cenarius, is a special case and the lore behind it is based on vanilla lore. Using the same logic, Cenarius having sons and daughters would make them Wild Gods, or Ban-Lu, son of Xuen.

Blizzard can obliviously rename the Incarnation of Ursoc to URSOL, but Blizzard has all but forgotten about Ursol, their children, and generally any Night Elf Wild Gods at this point.

Demanding is not likely to get you very far but if it makes you feel better, give it a try.

Can they shapeshift into a flying animal? Stop comparing apples and oranges.

I like that they’re doing things like this.

I wish they expanded the druid lore (and most class lore) to be more inclusive. Nightborne should be able to do be druids due to that NPC who was a proto-druid by their city who we met while questing in Suramar.

Blood Elves should be druid/botanist like the NPCs in The Botanicia. It’s the same logic for Gnome Priests.

Void Elf druids can just be blood elf druids who were druids prior to taking on the void.

Let players craft their own stories and provide more agency. This is an RPG. Lore should be used to allow for unique stories to be told, not used to pigeonhole people into cookiecuter molds.

According to the lore they are. So is his brother. :woman_shrugging:t4:

Well, they’ve pretty much been doing that since launch. I understand, but I still feel this case is actually more of a reinforcement of the identity. Characters must earn a wild god’s blessing to shape-shift into this mount.

True, it doesn’t look like the quest line is as complicated as the original druid quests to learn their forms, but then again, most of the classes doing this will not be druids. They can’t handle that level of difficulty.

I thought they were all Ancients, who are all considered Wild Gods. It’s been a while, probably Cata? That I really deep dove into druid lore outside of the Legion Order Hall stuff.

Indeed they are.

And druids can be demon infused bears. Obviously stealing from demon hunters. It’s okay boo it’s a big game we can share

wasnt there two children of Ursoc in Grizzly Hills?

I remember you had to defeat two big bears in that quest line, each chilling out with a different furbolg tribe

Disagree. Nothing in the quest texts labels them as Wild Gods.

Never refuted that Ursol wasn’t a Wild God. Obviously, Ursol’s Vortex is a magic-based ability and thus explains why the CASTER Bear God is gifting a spell to Guardian Druids.

Being children of a Wild God doesn’t mean they are wild gods. Ban-Lu son of Xuen isn’t a Wild God. Children of Loa’s aren’t Loa’s.

The twins claim to be guardians. :woman_shrugging:t4:

It doesn’t? Where is that said? I’m not arguing one way or the other, I just didn’t realize there was a rule on this.
