They’re the biggest hypocrites in the history of WoW and the Horde. The Horde will never be the Undead and Blood Elf faction led by a High Elf and her human lover. I should be killing the Elves and fighting alongside the Trolls against Elves. Not fighting alongside Blood Elf paladins that look like they belong on the Alliance. They want the Horde to have an Alliance aesthetic but they don’t want to have to play the Alliance.
It’s time to end the 2 faction nonsense and give these people a 3rd faction because they don’t belong on the Horde, they don’t even like what the Horde stands for is and is about.

That green glow represents fel corruption, not Horde loyalty.

Obviously. The fel corruption underscores the similarities between orcs and elves. The Blood Elves don’t “belong on the alliance” any more than the orcs do.

And? He was still legally Warchief, and all Horde players have canonically supported a rebellion against him - during war with the Alliance no less. Therefor you are already a traitor to a prior Warchief, with no grounds to stand on in your slander of Baine. Supporting Sylvanas has nothing to do with “loyalty” to the Horde, but loyalty to a character - Sylvanas.

You can claim to be loyal to the horde when rebelling against Garrosh and when supporting Sylvanas just fine. You’re loyal to an idea/cause rather than a formal legal institution.

Hold up, I think there’s some logic with Trivelfrank. The Amani were allies to the Horde until the Horde recruited the Blood elves.
Killing them might be excessive though remaining under the leadership of Kael’thas would pit the Blood elves against the Horde’s ally.

I don’t know that “we were both corrupted by fel magics for a while” creates a stronger bond and kinship than being allied with humans and dwarves for thousands of years. 2800+ years weighed against fel magtic addiction and a partnership of like 7 or so years.

But you didn’t say anything about supporting Sylvanas until now (so this is just a Sylvanas thread?). This thread was about whether or not Baine is a traitor (which he is). We knew stuff about Garrosh that we don’t know about Sylvanas, that his “true horde” was an orc only club.
And regardless, even if the horde PC is a “traitor” that doesn’t mean that we like doing it the first time. If we didn’t like it then why would we like doing it now for a second time? (if I did stupid emojis, they would be right here).

No it wasn’t. It was about the people accusing him of being a traitor are themselves guilty of what he is.
Don’t really care whether you like it or not bro. You didn’t get a choice the first time and are therefor canonically a traitor, and not only a traitor, but canonically a hypocrite if you choose Sylvanas out of a supposed loyalty to the position of Warchief.

Maybe the PC’s are, if they bothered to do the quests. I guess this doesn’t include demon hunters either… but anyway, no, the players themselves have plenty to stand on. (again, if I did stupid emojis, they would be here)

Man … thought we should have been past this by now. Lor’themar has proven time and time again that he’s true Thrall’s Horde; and Thalyssra is a good addition to our faction (and additive). There are also MANY Forsaken that I enjoy as part of the faction. Dread-Admiral Tattersail (for example) in her little side quest for Naz’jatar shows she “bleeds” red (as she’s freaking out about the Horde fleet that was lost and sends you deep in to Naz’jatar to save those captains you can). They have their own styles, but they are good additions to the Horde.

Your rp is nice but it does not count in the games canon., which this forum is meant for! Typically it is agreed upon for lore purposes that the PC has canonically done every quest. Therefor the PC which is picking Sylvanas out of some sort of “loyalty” to the Warchief is hypocrite and already a traitor to a previous Warchief.
Take it up with the repeated relentlessly spammed threads about Baine and Anduin and co sucking by the beloved respectable unbiased posters of the forum! Keep on the look out for even more til the end of BfA

When you preface your sentence with “typivcally it’s agreed”, then you’re not talking canon. That’s fanon. Canon is expressed by the devs, not us. My characer’s canon actions are that I haven’t done SoO and I was gone for the Barrens patch.
If you can say following Thrall and Vol’jin make us traitors to the Horde, then I can point out that I never raised a weapon against the Horde. Your fanon is no stronger than mine, your opinions no more relevant to facts determined by the devs.

It is canon buddy. Someone did those canonical quests, there was a “champion” in them doing them. That was every ones PC.

Not sure what that has to do with the BEs not being TRUE Horde anymore?
Pretty sure they’ve proven their mettle many times now; and the BE posters that still prefer to side with Sylvanas (almost dogmatically so) really are taking some pretty big leaps from their own Racial Lore to keep that mindset. They can like Sylvie as a character certainly, but if they can’t see why the BEs would have never fallen on her side in this issue … not sure what to tell them?
