I ran into a fire mage yesterday who was melting everyone in RSS.
Idk if they were really good, or if they were abusing the Ignite bug.
People might not even know there’s a bug. They probably just think it’s a skill diff or poor PvP balancing.

I mean it doesn’t even matter this early in season. No one is getting glad or close to it this early
RSS is barely at 2400.
6 months from now that ladders will be inflated 1000+ higher there is nothing relevant happening on 2nd week of season. Sure the bugs crap but having the POV that people shouldn’t PVP and play other characters or not play the game is pretty fried.
Unless @Jimmybutler is offering to personally play 50-200 games with every mage that opts out this week to make up for games not played? for being such good sports and good will on your end

There are casual pvpers who wrote off the first season because of the trophy thing that got fixed within a day.

It is neat seeing Fire doing damage, though. Felt weird when it was just a tanky polybot. I think you mentioned before that Fire should play similar to Marksmanship in that it’s a little on the delicate side with high output albeit perhaps a bit more control.

My friend earlier was giving me a hard time about not having last seasons glad mount.
I responded with aint no mage want ur “prestigious” ret rework abuser mount.
S1 mount = I played ret/war ret/demo and cupid really fast for free drake. Its about as cool as unchained mount in my eyes now.

100%. Personally I think we should have an ability that turns poly into a stun/horrify that does HP % damage on a 30 CD. 3-5 second duration. So we lose poly and gain more offense.
I think fire should be more in line with its kit thematically and just focus on damage and spread pressure with ignite. We got part of it down.
Just need the rework to fix that and entire right side of tree and stuff like living bomb.
