If the Echoes zones have XP scaling like regular zones capped to 70, they will still give XP at 70+ but something like 20X less. I have obstinately ground through Legion quests on my hunter to unlock feathermane taming and the XP faded into near-nothingness after lv60. You go from 10-20k XP per quest down to 0.5-1.5k.
Another possibility is that once characters become eligible for lv70+ XP, they won’t be able to phase into Echoes zones altogether and the only way to spend those characters’ echoes after Thursday will be Dalaran’s omni-vendor.
The launch of the expansion is when “early access is”
Dont be a sheep and fall for the marketing.
Most players purchased the $100 version of the game, and anyone who takes wow seriously absolutely purchased it too.

I think the exp is turned off at 70+ because they give crests instead of exp.
