Even out the customization for everyone

I agree, that’s definitely an important one. It would do so much for the male worgen in terms of size/height, and if orcs get it, so should all the others (I’d love it for my male undead, too, and even a male tauren).

Even though it seems customizations have taken a back-burner for now, I’m really hopeful that Blizzard will keep working on them and give the neglected races some more love. It’s my firm belief that everyone should have close to the same number of customization options for their respective races.

There is a reason why belf was the first “old race” to get heritage armor. Because it has the highest population base. And thus it should be no surprise why they have the largest amount of cosmetic features. And then for alliance the same is for human and nelf.

Pandaren really need more, they are lacking! 3 new hairstyles per gender and 3 fur colors that don’t even mesh well with the facial hair coloring.

Draenei, Trolls and Worgen are other races that are really lacking.
Allied races should be able to use the hairstyles of the race they share the models with, same with stuff like war paint. Also why no blue eyes for Mag’har when we got a Mag’har character with blue eyes right there? And we have other Mag’har with regular Orc hairstyles too.

All the races need scars, jewelry, body paint, more fur colors for the furred races.
I want body hair options too, the Orcs are lacking despite the film showing them to be pretty hairy. I also want my Kul’tiran to be more fuzzy darn it!

I am ALL for body hair options. I want fuzzier Kul’tirans and fuzzier humans. I’m also very here for fuzzy orcs.

Honestly, I’m here for fuzzy anybody. Let me have fuzzy men, please.

It’s weird how the customization options are so wildly inconsistent. Like they’re just all over the place. Some races got tons more than others, while a few (especially the allied races) got basically NOTHING.

ALL of the races deserve to have FUN customization options like the orcs, trolls, and tauren (and the night elves and dwarves to an extent) are getting: warpaint, tattoos, scars, and/or jewelry.

Humans got basically none of this. Despite an official Blizzard post bragging about scar options, they only got a couple of scars tied to specific faces which are tied to certain skin color ranges. Not even any tattoos, despite TONS of tattooed human and kul-tiran NPC’s walking around the game, especially in Boralus, the newest zone!

Male blood elves also got next to nothing - no tattoos, bodypaint, scars, etc. - not even an equivalent of the body jewelry they gave to females. And they gave the Void Elves a bunch of blood elf skin tone options but didn’t even bother to change the underwear (they still have red & gold belf undies) or give them new hair options to match.

Also who arbitrarily decided Draenei could not have any eye color options? They’re the only core race that doesn’t. Meanwhile they went and gave some to the Nightborne! Waaat?

I dunno man, I mean I love that we’re getting new options, but it’s just an inconsistent mess.

A customization update should be a massive and fun update for everyone across the board, to let all races create more unique-looking characters.

As it is, only a few races can do this now - basically orcs, tauren, dwarves, and night elves. Females also have a disproportionate amount of options compared to males (especially insofar as races like humans and blood elves are concerned).

Blood Elves don’t have the largest amount of new customization options. On Horde, the races with the largest amount of new options are Orc and Tauren. Male Blood Elves in particular barely got anything at all, and was completely neglected in favor of female Blood Elves.

This is one of the most infuriating things about the new customization options. Why can’t they just make scars a separate category of options for all races?

If they did that what would they give you later on as pretend content? Really. “Here are a few more skin tones because…um…releasing all of them would be…er…hey look over there.” Wow should of attacked customization a loooong time ago.

Personally I do not care. I would rather have two more new zones rather than having an eye color no one is really ever going to see anyway.

I frankly disagree, but also, it shouldn’t cost two new zones just to get the new eye or fur colors.

That’s patently ridiculous. Blizzard is literally among the, if not the, richest game development company. They could afford to give us lots of good customizations and new gameplay content, especially as much as we pay for the game and how much they have lessened the content over time (new armor sets, for example).

Giving this a much deserved nudge.

Right now the customizations are kind of a joke, and a bad one, at that. I love all the new stuff we’ve gotten, and I’m glad that we all got it. But the discrepancy between races is ridiculous. It looks like the most random, thrown-together mess, not an actual, coordinated effort to give every single race, evenly across the board, a whole lot of new cool and distinctive options.
