Even out the customization for everyone

Imagine being on the art team, trying to capture the style and flavor of each race and suddenly you look at GD and you get this dude barfing up a world salad about how its STILL NOT GOOD ENOUGH, and it never will be.

Maybe you should have become a doctor like your dad said you think to yourself as the whisky takes you into slumber.

Still hoping for void elf natural hair colors and hairstyles (or the toggle tentacle on/off option).

I agree. Customization options should be as fairly distributed among the races as possible. I always rally for trolls because they’re my favorite race to play, but we should all be given as much variety as possible.

I get the feeling a bunch of you missed the memo on the art team specifically saying in interviews they were looking for player suggestions and requests as to new things people would like to see added.

I don’t post on the forums out of some weird spite; I post because I care and appreciate the work, and to point out the things I and some others would still like to see. A lot of what’s in the post has been gathered from many other threads and people over time.

Haha, I could see that.

But yeah, body types would really take things another step very far. Maybe in the far-flung future, though.

I love my humans as they are, but I could definitely see wanting to make, like, an old wizard (with an actual wizard beard! Humans don’t really get those
) who looks
 well, like an old wizard.

I’m very glad we got kul’tirans, even if they are still massively muscular. Gosh, I love my male kul’tiran.

I can’t believe how little pandaren have right now. Just give us all the bear colors please (solid black, brown, light brown, solid white) new jewelry, some more hairstyles (not too impressed with the 3 new ones we got) and i know this is a long shot, but a thinner body option

Alternatively, if the ‘thinhuman’ ever gets implemented as a body type, even if it’s just for KT’s, there you can have the Gandalf-esque mage! I’d really love that.

This. In context, some of the races getting “too much” had too little to begin with. That’s the true evening out

Female Tauren still only have 4 face choices, males 5. Every other race started with more, some way more.

Those are all pointlessly gendered so I agree.

Also female dwarves. They deserve facial hair too.

Highmountain Tauren have fewer customization options than even the super shafted NB.

Vanilla Tauren still only have 4 face choices for females, 5 for males. Hopefully you don’t have to wait years for the NB equivalent of moar horn options, and then even more years later, finally some decent customization additions like actual hairstyles and tattoos :woman_shrugging:t2:
Oh and still not receive any new face choices after 16 years :woman_shrugging:t2:

Yeah, OG female tauren had among the least customization options when I did counts a long time ago, alongside male worgen.

All the allied races in general have extremely few, barring a handful
I’d like to think they’d add more to all the races, core and allied, but we’ll see, I guess.

Yup, male Trolls, Worgen, and Goblins (the Cata Shaftℱ) also only have 5 face choices whereas the females have more choices.

They need to bring all the phoned-in races up to par with the well-done races. It’s not like the popular races are going to get more or less popular–that market is already saturated. However the other races have tons of room for growth if they actually get some options that make them look cool.

Adding a few more fur colors for worgen was nice - and they all look fantastic (though I don’t know why the male worgen maned wolf colors don’t have black hands, too). Females have always had more in that department, too, though. They already have a black, hah. Always have. Unlike males, who still lack one.

They have, of course, done a little to bring them up to speed - but only in terms of the eye choices. That’s it, really.

As a long-time - VERY long time - tauren main, I’m very happy to see tauren getting lots of love, but I still want to see it spread around some more. Definitely going to have fun making my tauren look seriously awesome, though. Just wish I could say the same for my other characters, like the worgen and kul’tirans.

Didn’t exactly see much by way of additions to this in the latest patch.

Say it louder for those in the back.

Night Elves, Human’s, and Trolls have received the most complicated options so far. I don’t even want to begin discussing how disappointed I am with Belf options.

Orcs have also gotten some pretty dang complicated ones.

I feel for your disappointment, as a worgen.

I was bloody disappointed when I heard that the cool Blood Elf body jewelry option with the gold chains hanging around the neck and waist, which we saw in early screenshots, was apparently not going be available for players. As usual, I guess. Anything awesome gets reserved for NPC’s, like that Night Elf archer armor from the original trailer, for example.

Hey, you know how some of the High Elves (Alleria, in particular) have this blue warpaint looking stuff? How about some of that for Blood Elves and even Void Elves (since the latter are clearly as close as we’ll ever get to High Elves)?

Really, every single race should get tattoo and/or warpaint options. There are examples of tattooed NPC’s of almost every race, among pirates, bandits, cultists, etc. I saw a bunch of tattooed Humans at the entrance to Deadmines the other day, and there are tattooed Worgen at the battle for Darkshore. There’s no excuse not to give player tat’s.

Giving this another nudge.

I agree full heartedly with OP.

Equalize the customizations!

Really hope we hear more about the customizations again soon. I’m getting a sinking feeling they might pretty much be done at this point. Really hope I’m wrong.

Nothing noteworthy in this build, either.
