They’ve been losing for awhile now, this would just be the nail in the coffin.

Well, I have never searched the legal history for the developers/publishers of any game I have ever purchased…so I don’t think having a “bad reputation” is going to hurt them at this point. Look at EA, they have one of the worst reputations in the industry and they are still going strong.
I’m sure they will still making a killing with Diablo 4

I think this will blow over in a couple of weeks and not be brought up again until either the court case actually happens, or something happens to upset players again.
Example being that we’ve seen lots of references to Hong Kong since this broke, but no one has actually cared about that for a very long time now.

True, but not completely. One result of this case is that Blizzard would be put under probationary period monitored by the DFEH.
But in the case of public interest and opinion you are absolutely correct.

There’s a fair amount of people here who have already treated Blizz like they were super villains for years. Has anything really changed because of this?
What’ll happen is the outrage will continue for a bit, they’ll do the battle, and eventually this will calm down and we’ll go right back to complaining about WoW again. All of this shoved into the past regardless of the outcome. Times moves on, so will we. Until the next disaster strikes and diverts attention to restart the cycle.
It’s called a Pyrrhic victory. Winning the engagement but at such a loss that it eventually leads to your destruction.

Essentially even if blizzard wins the case, their so screwed by this that their reputation will forever be tarnished. I doubt they’ll win either given the blatant pay disparities that is damning enough at this point in time. Along with their PR statement solely focused on the harassment accusations, over the other issues their being sued for.
This all could explain the decline we’ve been seeing, they seem to be so focused on self promoting their friends that its eventually led to this point. To where its all as put by the case, a frat house. To where its just a pack of knuckle heads that have no business being in the position their in currently.
