All those had catch-ups in later patches. Essences are from the current 8.2 patch. Thus no catch-up yet.
Catch-up is coming in 8.3, a lot of them will have their costs halved.
So you have 2 choices really : do it now and be done in 3 weeks, or wait for 8.3, and be 2 weeks behind everyone else.
