Error #134 Fatal Condition followed by Scan & Repair Loop

I was stuck too. Deleted battlenet over and over trying to fix it like it said. Then I found Blizzard Article ID: 33942 which says just delete the data folder so I did. And basically now the whole game is re downloading. It said it was an update but it was like 84gigs. I logged in as soon as it said playable at like 10% and it worked. Still have all my add-on data and everything so that’s good. Fixed without having to straight up delete everything and start over. Letting it fully ‘updating’ re downloading now.

same here stuck in the loop

Can confirm this works, I had to reinstall add-ons because I deleted all folders but it worked

Still can’t get it to re install, even clearing all files and starting with new Launcher app and wow folder.
Still loops on Initializing step (2145571/2145571)…

I did. And now we are being punished. I wanted to play before reset but of course that’s not going to happen.

The solution on the following forum post worked for me. https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/en/wow/t/whoops-looks-like-something-broke-give-it-another-shot/1404260/26

this actually worked for me I was stuck in the loop of repair thank you

Deleting just the data folder and reinstalling it worked for me.

I battled this issue all night after having the critical error like everyone else. It seems that I finally got it fixed and it’s downloading now. Deleting the temp folders and full uninstall of both battle net and wow did not work for me, I just kept running into the same problem.

What worked for me was:

-Temporarily uninstalling my antivirus (AVG) and letting windows defender do the work.

-Opting to run Battle net in Beta

-Selecting to allow automatic updates when setting the install options at the screen before starting the install. (I was previously disabling this)

I did also try using my mobile hotspot and that got it to begin the download, and I switched back to Ethernet connection and it kept going. I don’t know if this was really the problem or not, but it’s worth a shot if none of the above combined for you solve the problem. Hopefully things stay fixed and I can enjoy the game again!
